Does anyone realise that in the word "Barnoldswick" no letter of the alphabet repeats itself??

Something I didn't know after being born and bred in Barlick. Imagine my suprise when some time ago, one of my children came home from a school in Leicestershire to inform me that Barnoldswick was mentioned in an English lesson. As you say it's the only place name in England (could be UK) where no letter repeats itself.

Urban myth, nice though it may seem, Buckfastleigh in Devon has 13 letters without a repeat.
