Hi Bob Owd Mate,
Well! What a fantastic millscape of " Dear Dirty Darren" . Is it a postcard? Including India Mill's mighty stack I have counted 13 chimneys? Brilliant stuff---keep posting your wonderful pictures.

Alan gave a fascinating talk on water power to the Earby History Society on Tuesday evening. Great stuff Alan, and an excellent slide show courtesy of Mrs McEwen. Thanks to both of you.

Bob,
What another beauty ! You are undoubtedly building up not only an interesting collection , but also an important record of rare caminological material.

Swifty, that joke about Steven Gately was in bad taste. Michael Jackson was very disappointed when Steven joined him in heaven...he was expecting someone from the Boys' Home!

When India Mill was completed they held an art exhibition in it before installing the machinery. They were so proud of their achievement. Can you imagine that happening now? They don't turn them into galleries until they have buggered the industry!
