Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?

Three hot meals again augmented by some very tasty savoury rice and onion I cooked just because I fancied it.
I shall be roasting some belly pork this morning for the same reason!

Kids and a calf at Hey Farm 50 years ago..... If there was a better way to rear kids than with plenty of green space to play in and with animals as companions, I never found it!

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER

Yesterday afternoon was sunny but not warm. At 20:00 we had sun coming in under the light overcast. This morning first thing it was calm, clear and cool. It's tending to cloud over now. The glass is up on 1023mb and the forecast is for sunny intervals at first but heavy overcast by late morning, it ...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

That sounds like a busy day Sue! I was telling Mick and Margaret last night that the weather was warming up but then I saw the outlook on the Mat Office forecast this morning. We are back into the heating season next week! I shall be in the shed at 06:00 working on my cylinder. I have some pork bell...

Re: POLITICS CORNER

You have reminded me of another puzzle David, the eviction of Fergie and Andrew.... What complicated lives they do lead.... Laura Kuenssberg has written a thoughtful piece on the Abbott affair. See THIS in BBC Politics thread. Worth reading and it reminds me of this because Blairism was the root of ...

And she couldn't vote. Stand by your man.  Tammy Wynette, 1968. In 1968, this country and western song sped to the top of the charts, where it coexisted—uncomfortably?—with several songs by Bob Dylan.   In itself, standing by your man can be an overrated virtue.   It didn’t do much for Hillary Clint...

No clarification of a possible problem with the Left. This is not the end of the matter.

We won't blame you Sue, from the look of the forecast it's getting it out of the system ready for Flaming June!
