I did a full shift in the shed yesterday and though tired (I get out of shed condition very easily these days!) it was OK. I shall do the same today. My back is much better and I am getting on top of my arm.... That rubbing oil I made is excellent and I remembered last night that I have a vibrating massager (not a dildo!) and I used that as well.

Yes but I don't have to be wired up to it. No different than taking my shirt off and doing a good embrocation rub.....

Arm has improved by 90% in the past week but I was feeling it after wrangling king sized bedding. Nice to know that relief is just a button press away. This machine is amazing.
I had a few sessions for a neck injury, it was very effective.

Stanley...I put the sticky pads on, thread the leads thru my top and shove the unit in my bra. I am good to go. And I have checked in the mirror...nobody sees anything ( except a bump down my cleavage!). I am not tethered to anything.
When I go "out" I just disconnect the wires at the control box, fish the control box from said cleavage (leave control box on the hall table) and nothing shows. Hook myself up again when I get home.

I put it on hubby and gave him a back massage. He described it as " quite addictive". ( the goofy look on his face said it all)

After I wrote that I found out I had to write articles so the shed went by the board. It didn't do me any harm..... I shall be on the steam chest lids today!

Back onto remote control seeking duties (failure looms on the horizon), and today I do battle on Mum's behalf with British Telecom. Oh, just in case you didn't get that straight away, British Telecom.. They have failed on several occasions to get her connected to a telephone, and from that have failed to get her connected to the internet via a BT hub. Obviously what you do when you have no telephone and no internet (according to BT) is to check your emails. Now i'm not very good at these things but......... Oh, and the village has next to no wifi coverage just in case you wondered.

I presume you mean no mobile signal in the village, Julie? If so, then it's probably the same as our village. We can get a signal from O2 on old mobiles but not from any other provider; with smartphones there's no signal from any of them here.

I often feel when visiting Norfolk that it's like driving through a vision of the 1930's. I have mainly visited coastal spots which have always seemed to be reasonably served though. Inland I would imagine could be a challenge even for landlines in some spots, I bet some of our dales up here are better served. Where are you in relation to the larger conurbations Julie? Plenty of scope for proper rural in Norfolk.

Putting a 3 tread wind at the top of my loft stairs, it should stop me hitting my head on the beam :-)

The sun is out so lots of gardening today, followed by aperitif with our French neighbour. Bob has been trying out our new smoker so it's smoked chicken for tea.

Julie, 'Normal for Norfolk' as the doctors say?

I shall be playing with these. I know it's dangerous to sing your own praises but I couldn't resist this pic this morning. You can tell at a glance that all is well. I think I might be getting the hang of making steam engines......

My 45 th wedding anniversary today. My sister told me it was sapphire, I said it may be sapphire but it's a very long time :laugh5: we are out for lunch at a local creperie, it's a shame that following the death of her husband, the chef , our favourite local restaurant has closed down.
