Photography Nuts & Bolts
I dusted off the studio lighting the other day. I thought it about time I started using it again and there was a model to hand. This is Oliver Hylands, he's an England National League Basketball player. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7084/7371563904_c05d2f3ff3.jpg Oliver by Olympus_Kev , on Flickr

A while ago Stanley and Tizer were discussing a Raw converter. RawTherapee 4.0.9 released on june 4th with Nikon and Canon compatibility. Might be worth a look. Check your Ubuntu Software Centre, Stanley, it's a free download.

Re: COMPUTERS, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY
My son (Barlick based) has just signed up to Sky for his telephone and broadband. Up to 20MB (connects between 12 and 15) unlimited calls for £22 a month. He's currently paying £12 for the first 6 months as the BB is free.
The same package he had with BT was costing him £44.

Re: COMPUTERS, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY
Our Orange connection has been down for a couple of days, they fixed it yesterday and the engineer said it was water that had got in. Speaking to their call centre was a nightmare, they told me I had to contact BT as it was their fault, when I explained they were responsible for our landline I got ...

Re: SUMMER 2012
We've had two days of warm gentle showers. The glass has risen again to 30", it's overcast but dry at the moment. Could be a good time to go for the mid-day walk! And indeed it was. I bumped into him in the town, made a fuss of Jack and away we went. I am in denial over the weather, the shorts...

The Barlick is due to re-open soon as a Bistro and B&B. We need a few more B&B's if BTC are encouraging tourism.
Coffee Corner, currently hidden away in Newtown, will be moving to The Railway once the refurbishment work is complete.

Two parlours in Barlick now Stanley, there must be mileage somewhere. Perceived fashion and what constitutes "the body beautiful" is a strange thing isn't it? Not my "cup of tea". I am, however, impressed by how well Lee Pickles parlour, on Rainhall Rod, blends in with the other...
