Just walked down to the Usmanya to get a curry for tea. Very crunchy underfoot. Still a fair bit of frozen snow on the ground. It was good to see a gritter on minor roads today, Park St and Mosley St.

A Linux question for Pluggy. I have a Compaq Presario V5000 Laptop with Ubuntu 11.04 on it and can't get the S-Video output to work. Video card is ATI Technologies Inc Radeon XPRESS 200M 5955 (PCIE). Went to the Barlick Raj, in Station Rd, again last night. Another excellent meal and great service. Out of laziness we went for the set meal for two (£32). Total bill was £46 with drinks. Highly recommended by me and P.
