I have always marvelled at the ability of whatever knots exude to penetrate the coats of paint above. I doubt if anything completely stops the action. You may slow it down. We visited friends while at Thoresby Hall, they use Lidl's equivalent of Lavazza Caffe Rosso and I found it to be very good. Had a good look in Colne Lidl yesterday but sadly they had none...

Heard in the news, four people have been arrested for throwing apple crumble at the crown jewels. One shouldn't condone vandalism but it made me chuckle every time the newsreader said it, I'm not sure why they had to name the specific food

It looks as though you scored a hit Kev.... An interesting platter! It was delicious, the t-bone was pre sliced making it easier to pick from the serving plate. There was a rich gravy, roasted cherry tomatoes, a chimichurri sauce, half a bulb of roasted garlic, pea shoots and a pot of triple cooked...
