Just general housework today and two pairs of trousers had to be taken up for Febby.
Woke with a sore back this morning so have been going half pace, but seem to have got everything done.
Hopefully this leaves tomorrow free for ancestry...

I think things are changing in some respects. Hubby and I both sense that our ( combined) children will have no interest at all in worrying about us or caring for us in old age in the way that is probably currently accepted to be the norm. We feel it is our own responsibility to plan for ourselves.....

Have spent the last few days fertilising the lawns and garden beds, mulching, repotting, weeding etc

What attracted my attention?
Christmas goodies on the supermarket shelves. Glazed cakes and Mince Pies etc.
( made me feel slightly sick to see them)
They were still selling Easter Buns a month ago!

No plug oil.
Fine to have a good soak in, but does it come with a strapping lad to carry it out for emptying?
I'd have to do several trips back and forth with a bucket before I could shift it.
