Re: We all Love A Moan, What Annoyed You Today...
Speaking of litter, it was bin day today, so bins went out last night. A street full of bins of course. And some bright spark had to go and dump a bin bag full of household rubbish under a tree alongside my neighbours side fence. All those bins to choose from...but nooooooo...let's just dump it unde...

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Will check out the carrot museum ( who would have thought there would be one!) And in answer to your question...no...didn't notice any wee changes...but I don't with beetroot either...and I eat that regularly. Tis Asparagus that most noticeably changes urine. What a lot of thoughtful trouble to go t...

Oh good on them...I think that is wonderful. They do say you make a better writer when you have a bit of life experience under your belt, and I thoroughly agree with that. Did your friend find it easy to get published? I've read so much on how hard it is to run the gauntlet of publishers...which ten...

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
BB - the carrots stayed purple during cooking. They were the colour of tinned beetroot. Water went the same colour...I could have dyed the Royal Robes. They are kind of 'horsey' looking carrots...more like purple parsnips to look at. I have enough for another meal during the week. I wonder when thes...

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Tasmanian Salmon tonight. Poached...no garlic! I bought some purple carrots on the weekend. ( purple through and through...why I thought they would be orange inside...I dont know). They were yum, and said to contain remarkable health benefits. Note to self...do not cook purple carrots in the same po...

Re: OBITUARIES
Found in the bath, I believe. Could point to usage of 'ice'.... ( let's not jump to conclusions) Perhaps the body just naturally gave up after all she had put it through. It happens. ( though it looks as if she overdid it the night before and possibly carried on in party mode) My favourite song was ...

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Yes...I would be happy with that rule of thumb, Whyperion.( if you want to add to Atlantic Salmon, I think you can't beat a white sauce with lemon zest, black pepper, a touch of tarragon and a touch of dill, and a little parsley.) Though I wouldn't mess with the veg. I like the natural taste of veg....

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Ate out at a pub last night. The meal was nice, but we found we had very little choice, as three quarters of the menu contained Garlic! So it was plain old Chicken Schnitzel for us. ( we both would have liked seafood but all of the seafood dishes were laced with Garlic...and it wasn't just sauces th...

So perhaps put 'bath night' off for a few more days?
Oh...can you imagine the good old days when folk had to duck outside to the wash house and toilet? It must have been awful.
