Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?

Browns are a bit far away for us... :laugh5: From what we have discovered, our "local" butchers either don't make their own sausages, or they add garlic. Garlic is becoming the new sugar. It is finding it's way into so many everyday things, it is ridiculous. I read a recipe for a beef casserole toda...

Re: WHAT ATTRACTED YOUR ATTENTION TODAY?

We have booked a hotel room in the city later this week, as Febby has his work Christmas "do" and I intend to spend the afternoon at the city shops ( a rare treat for me!). Hotel room is just over £75 for the night. (Plus £13 for a car park...extra if we want Valet parking). We opted not to pay for ...

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?

Tried ALDI Thin Beef Sausages tonight ( on our eternal hunt for nice sausages). We both enjoyed them, so they will be bought again....in fact, although I can only eat one sausage, and not more than once a fortnight...I have to say it was most enjoyable. (We have had some horrible ones!) So it was Sa...

Re: HOUSEHOLD TIPS NOT FOUND IN WOMAN'S WEEKLY

Fitted bottom sheets are notorious for collecting extra items under the elastic too...I often peg them on the line, then check the pouches formed due to elastic. I had a missing sock that I knew would turn up one day! Then I had a bump in the corner of my clean fitted sheet. Ahhaaaa!

We avoided the crowds this morning. Home with our feet up having a cuppa by 08.30am after doing a full shop. That's the way to stay sane.

Re: LIGHTS IN THE SKY 2013

We were the same Cazza. Popped to the shops to drop 3 bags of stuff off to the charity shop, plus we popped into the bank. Had to park in the overflow carpark ( :laugh5: didn't know they had one until today!). Who are all these people? And where did they come from? At first we put it down to interes...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

The trouble is, that Ancestry can't handle weird relationships. I have a man who married his father's second wife's daughter-by-her-first-husband. Try putting that on a family tree. They were step siblings, but because his dad married her mum, the family tree can't comprehend it. Every time I get ro...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

Will do some Ancestry I think. Having been away a lot lately, I have kind of lost the plot with it all. I must get back into it. I keep telling myself that if I just open any file and stick my nose in, some little detail will grab me and I will be back in to it again.

Re: LIGHTS IN THE SKY 2013

Can you be more specific with your order of preference, Tizzy ?( cos I look these things up on YouTube you know...in fact...I showed Febby the dragon one tonight and he fairly "melted" over it). I saw the hardware one too which was very good. I watched another one stuffing fruit in stockings ( was i...

Virgins, Loaves, Fishes IS biblical...as are lambs, oxen, donkeys and doves! In fact, if you think back to the Ark, everything is pretty much covered...even them 'oribble (hairless) snakes...

Does the animal have cloven hooves? (Cos you are on the dark side now...)
