Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?

Cold (steamed) Chicken Breast with Salads, including Beetroot and a cold (hard boiled) egg. I bought some lovely fresh mushrooms this morning, so lots of raw mushrooms for me too. D is not so keen, but I make him eat a few slices of mushroom. It is important, as we only eat small amounts of red meat...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

I’ve got the gel seat. I was so close to buying the padded Lycra pants. Got to the point where I had a pair in my hand and was determined to buy them. But the horrified look on my husband’s face said it all...and I couldn’t go through with the purchase. I blame him for my sore back side! What I real...

Re: HOUSEHOLD TIPS NOT FOUND IN WOMAN'S WEEKLY

Yeah...but who cares...tenants should have their own insurance! Landlords do, but we can’t cover their stuff. ( we have had tenants who keep losing key after key and just leave the property open because it is easier to live without keys...Hello!) At the end of the lease, you either find the 50 keys ...

Re: HOUSEHOLD TIPS NOT FOUND IN WOMAN'S WEEKLY

Gosh, if you are a landlord, you wouldn’t want one of those locks on your rental property. Some tenants have a dreadful habit of losing keys!

Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS

Christmas tinsel hung in loops...people with coats on, so Northern Hemisphere Christmas...America ( cowboy shirt). That pattern of checks, both on the front of the counter and echoed in the edge of the carpet is familiar...but the only business we had using that checked pattern used to be Lenard’s (...

Pushed the boat out. Made a BBQ Prawn Pizza. Very naughty, but ok as an occasional treat, washed down with a glass of Shiraz.
Feeling quite contented now...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

I have been up and down a step-stool, cleaning the tops of door frames today ( my inner domestic goddess is now feeling rather smug). It all started when I noticed dust on top of the lounge French door frames as I came down the stairs.

Re: MEDICAL MATTERS

I have my MRI scans...they are mine, as I had to pay for my MRI. The scan was done late in the afternoon, so whilst I was handed the scans, they were at that point unreported. My GP printed off a copy of the MRI report. I keep a copy of it in my purse, because I have another disc that could blow at ...
