Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
What was I thinking, saying 35mm and 80mm of Rain?
.
Today we have a 35% “chance” of rain, tomorrow 95% and Sunday 85%. Still a lot of rain for us.
..
I’ve checked, and the neighbours aren’t building any Arks

Adelaide… things are looking up.
We might have Rain tomorrow, maybe a storm.
Also , …. Wait for it … they are predicting 35mm Rain on Saturday and 80mm Rain on Sunday.
That’s a lot of Rain for us.

Just been watching “Old Times Remembered “ on You Tube by Angus Brennan. I know Stanley has given us lots of these images, but to see them all together, and some from 1900 is just lovely..

Re: WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO OGFB?
Since posting this Topic I’ve had names popping into my head. Most of us would remember Nolic and Ringo. Who remembers Flutterby? I feel there was a sad end with Flutterby, but don’t actually know. Who was the folk singer that moved onto a canal boat? Can’t remember her name. Of course we remember P...

Plenty of showers and thunderstorms across most of the North of Australia. West to East.
Sadly it’s the opposite for most of the rest of us, and will remain so for a while yet.

Also referred to as Praders balls, the medical worry beads or the endocrine rosary. I learnt about them while watching ‘Would I...

Does anyone know what these are used for? And what are they called?
This will either be solved in a flash, or you will have to get your thinking caps on
