I look forward to seeing the first lambs, we have tulips, crocus, snowdrops and mini daffodils out. The camelias are not far off bursting out too, I hope we don't get any more keen frosts. Dull and damp here with not a breath of wind.

Yes I agree Wendy, I would suggest it is in the beck actually in the field just below Paris. I used to play in that beck, fallen in a few times which of course you have to do before you can become a 'Kelbrooker'! (It was certainly before my time!!!)

The oxtail looks Ok, I found a tin of new potatoes in the cupboard near their sell by date so I have thrown those in. I don't usually buy new potatoes in tins but they are handy when we are in the caravan.

Hope you have all had your pancakes - hubby had them at lunch time, I am not keen so I had tomatoes on toast. Fish & chips for tea, I have an oxtail stew cooking in the slow cooker for tomorrow.

Was drizzling this morning but now clear with grey clouds. Certainly much milder - no heating on as yet.
