Sounds tiring Sue! You'll need a holiday when you get home in order to recover. We are only going to see 17C here today but the promised heavy rain hasn't arrived yet, at the moment we have full sun. https://oneguyfrombarlick.co.uk/app.php/gallery/image/30342/medium More cutting to size of the steam...

More cutting to size of the steam valve. I have stopped at this point after just over 30 minutes work because now I have to swap my cutter to 1/4" for the two final cuts. I am looking for my breakfast!

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER

Yesterday we had much more sun than the forecast suggested and the first rain I saw all day was a spatter of big drops at 19:30 as I was going to bed. This morning we have a breeze, broken overcast and it is dry. The glass is up slightly on 1009mb and the forecast is for a cool day of wind and heavy...

Susan mailed me the other day to describe something she had seen down in Kent. It was a Kestrel making a kill of a hedge sparrow on the hedge ten feet away and she had a ringside seat for the strike, the butchering and the eating. She said that afterwards she went to look and there wasn't even a fea...
