Re: Lancashire Records Launch On-line
Thanks Jill. I let my ancestry sub lapse a few days ago and I am waiting for an offer to renew it again. I managed my last one for half price---fingers crossed.

Re: SO, WHAT IS A CAT?
Sounds as though everything is going in the right direction. Our outside cat always has to be able to see a way out if he comes into the house (which is not very often), and he cannot cope with the tv on-----still, when you are the great killing machine he is---what is a tv??

Eileen, I remember that "are you making your will?". I once started the Road to Nab End but couldn't get into it, may try again.

Thomo, if you rang them then they have your number---obviously they couldn't care less or they would have been straight round like I said before. I would string them up, some people don't deserve animals.

Some people beggar belief, why on earth do they have animals? I don't think I would even go round with a photo, if he cared in any way he would be round at yours now.

Re: Old folks and electrical safety
An elderly lady we know had central heating put in and the electrician said her electric wiring was in a dreadful state. He told her she should have it done or else her insurance would be invalid if there was a fire caused by the wiring. He wasn't trying to rip her off, the wiring was in from the or...

I didn't mean it in an aggressive way. I just found that if I posted something during the evening then by next morning it had disappeared off the edge of the page. I post some things as info not necessarily as a forum, and I think people will miss seeing those. I think if I came on the site as a new...

I still like the walking man, and if it means getting rid of him I think it should be left as it is. Not sure of we need the other pic of the town centre though, perhaps the walking man could walk around that at the top sometimes. These are just my views not criticisms.

Re: READ ANY GOOD BOOKS LATELY?
I have just found a new "vein" of books by an author called Jodi Picoult. I have nearly finished my second and have been to the library this morning to get my third. They are very different to anything I have read before and quite compelling, well worth a try.
