Dragonflies are good at that, Gloria. If you can get up close to a big hawker at rest it will turn its head and glare at you. Like something out of War of the Worlds!
If you blow it up it really does look menacing.

I've cheated 😱, I've looked at Chinatykes second spoiler. I did do a birds eye view up and down the canal to see if I could see anything first though.

The beauty of Mystery Objects is that we learn about new things. I'm not sure how useful ferruginous pipes are going to be to me but at least I have them stored away in my head! That was a good one....
It was a very good one, very interesting.

Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS

Or click on the image and then choose "Search Google for this image" from the drop down menu. Not that I would use it of course!! :biggrin2: This is making me feel stupid, but can I do it on my iPad or do I have to use the laptop to click on it? I'm using a tablet Gloria, so I'm not really clicking...

Re: Where Have You Just Been?

We went to Bank Hall at Bretherton which has had a lot of work done on it, it looks a lot more loved than it did when we last went. They have an interesting website and Facebook page which shows how much has been done.
