Back in harness now for Bosom's. I processed two weeks of shop takings yeterday ready to pay in to the banking hub. Just waiting till this afternoon as we will be inheriting a cheque from a memorial football match and family fun day which was held by Silentnight down at Victory Park last month. All ...

The US military is rolling into Washington DC this week for a rare public display of strength on Saturday to celebrate the army’s 250th anniversary. President Donald Trump, who has long dreamt of holding such an event, will watch on as more than 6,000 troops, 150 vehicles and 50 aircraft take part ...

For 10 days, (cheaper than 7) Lalysos on Rhodes, we arrived back through a thunderstorm in the early hours of Saturday morning. Temperature a bit of a shock after our constant 28 degrees and a totally cloudless blue sky, (apart from two fluffy ones) visible in the distance over Turkey one day. Fanta...

You can fight back in a small way by using a local milk man and buying your eggs from your butcher, (or your milkman if he does them). You wouldn't have to trot out to the Coop and keep feeding the monster. If it's an exercise thing you could do double traffic duty. :extrawink:

For the record, I enjoyed the best Lamb Kleftco that I have ever had and I have tried it on seven different Greek Islands. It was delivered up from a local tavern in Lalysos on Rhodos. Extra ingredients from what I have experienced before, carrots, peas and peppers, the lamb was on the bone also. I ...

An amber weather warning for thunderstorms came into force for parts of eastern and south-eastern England on Friday night, as the UK had its warmest day of the year so far. I can confirm that as we had to fly through it on our way home, seat belt lights came on and a word from the Captain as we dep...

Aye but I'm back now playing catch up. Regarding the West Riding, Barlick is still in it of course it says so in statute. Anyone who wants to argue should take it up with the Norsemen. :extrawink:

Earlier this morning a 6.2 magnitude earthquake 18Km from Rhodes and 43 miles underground between Rhodes and Turkey. Joy of joys, one of 25,000 quakes per year in the region. No reports of anyone hurt and no contra advisories from government which recommends (normal precautions) or on the airport de...

Just about sorted with the packing apart from the odds and sods needed tomorrow morning. No problem as we don't fly until late afternoon. My hold luggage is 5k under the allowance and my small rucksack as hand luggage is about the same. Our Jack is dropping us at the airport.

Cricket is a team game though so it is the final totals when all team members have had a go. Chess is akin to other combat sports which are mainly one on one. I enjoy a gamer of chess but I would not consider it a spectator sport, a bit like golf. :extrawink:
