That's a nice, colourful photo Wendy. You are lucky to live where you do such nice views. And yes I can see what you mean - it's a bit like a rainbow in the distance.

Re: WHAT ATTRACTED YOUR ATTENTION TODAY?
Wendy that's dreadful. My mother is in the same position as your mum. She keeps being fobbed off by hospital eye clinic and local health centre. Optician writes to doctor, doctor dosen't receive this letter etc etc. You know the rest, you just don't get any where with these people. My mother is 90 a...

Re: The Queen and Prince Philip
Stanley, I had a bladder infection when I was a lad from sitting on a cold, wet cycle saddle and it was "painful". I had another do in more recent times and it was very unpleasant. Very painful. But it can be cured now, thank goodness. So we know how Prince Philip feels.

Re: OBITUARIES
Yes, very saddened to hear of Robin Gibbs death. I loved the songs of the Bee Gees in the late 1960s and also in the 70s when they had a number of disco hits such as 'Night Fever'. RIP Robin Gibb. You will be greatly missed by lots of music fans.

Hello Wendy, the same thing has happened to me a couple of times logging into OGFB and other websites, don't know why it happens. I usually get back on someway but not sure how - it just happens for some reason.

Re: Joseph Bracewell/Susy Hartley/John Higgin
Have been doing a bit of research into my ancestors Hartleys and Stuttards of Colne. Went to Colne cemetary and found a gravestone Hartley/Stuttard near the chapel. Then went to Colne library and got talking to a lady volunteer called Elaine who works there on Wednesdays. She has ancestors with that...
