There was a long article by the defence correspondent of The Times last Saturday explaining how US defence staff have been shocked to find they are now unlikely to be able to hold off China if a war started between the two countries. They're now rushing to beef up their weapons and develop new ones....

Some years ago I read that lettuce helped with sleep problems due a component called lactucin. I tried eating a large amount of lettuce but didn't see any useful effect. Lettuce seed oil is sold in the Far east for help with sleep - perhaps Chinatyke knows about it? :smile:
