Word on the street (David Whipp Facebook post) is sewage testing, for Covid-19, should be starting in Pendle next week. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-53635692 https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/08/28/arizona-coronavirus-wastewater-testing/?fbclid=IwAR3LiauQoI-GHMVB6JYwXMvlVT...

Tizer wrote: 05 Sep 2020, 15:45 Ignoring the dark bands I still have a final question - it doesn't look quite like a normal spectrum - why is it different?
Not all the colours are there, I had to Google why. Because certain gases will absorb different 'colours' so they're not visible.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19) Corner

An interesting story from the BBC, are Covid-19 tests picking up dead virus and giving a positive result? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-54000629 This was probably going to happen to a small extent and it's the price we pay for modern test methods which have the benefits of being faster and more...

Around £200k according to David Whipp, jointly funded by BTC and PBC. The 30 year old flags that were removed were bought by the company going the job.

Went to look at the progress in the town square today, thought it was about time I saw what all the fuss, in particular Facebook groups, was about. The flags have real character and the quality of work is really good, it'll look stunning when it's done.
