Re: WHAT ATTRACTED YOUR ATTENTION TODAY?

On the Rolls topic again, a commentator last night said that we shouldn't forget hat each worker in the Rolls factories represents and uses on average three others in the supply chain. So 9,000 in Rolls could actually turn into 36,000 in total in the engineering and aerospace sector. Regardless of ...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19) Corner

From Australia - Coronavirus is excreted in faeces for up to six weeks after symptoms first appear.- A different view of track and trace I suppose. Virus totals will indicate where there are hot spots. Does this mean that an individual is infectious for the same length of time. Is this true of all c...

Re: BEWARE! THE BANKS ARE OUT TO GET YOU!

One of the things that constantly enrages me is the way some foreign owned companies, while paying lip service to liability for UK tax ensure that they make very little or no profit by the parent company in a tax haven lending money at exorbitant rates of interest to the UK operation, sometimes as ...

It's already been noted about Rolls-Royce figures. What the govt needs to start thinking about is how best to re-deploy redundant persons in new roles, some in the economy elsewhere, others in new enterprises doing new things for a greener and leaner future. of course the media at 9am today did not ...
