I gave the last of my eggs to my farrier who is doing a great job keeping working, his wife works nights in the police control centre over Preston way so they are managing to look after their 2 young kids between them. I will have more e...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

My farrier is due to visit this afternoon so I shall be keeping my fingers crossed that he can still come. I will have to leave him to it, no chatting! They are allowed to continue working on welfare grounds. Also delivering eggs to neighbours, I usually sell any spare eggs at the library on our Wed...

Re: PET'S CORNER

I've crushed my garlic but used rapeseed oil instead of olive as we had a half used bottle at the back of the cupboard. Gave the boys a dribble rather than a glug in their tea, but will slowly build it up.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19) Corner

Maz, you do seem to be in an argument all by yourself. As I see it, we as individuals on One Guy can't change anything that has happened here, the UK simply wasn't in a position to roll out testing at the beginning. Yes we are all in it together, doing our bit by self isolating and keeping our heads...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19) Corner

I've just looked at the average number of deaths in the UK for week 12 over the last 5 years and it is approximately 10,500 people. It helps to put things in some sort of perspective.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19) Corner

I had a chat (at the required distance) with a friend of mine who is 99% certain that she has had the virus, probably brought back from a skiing holiday. She says that she had the fever and dry cough, nothing too bad but she is just drained of energy and it was quite a shock to see one of the health...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

I had to venture out to the chemist in Earby yesterday as I had a prescription from my ophthalmologist for some different (preservative free) eýe drops. Like you Maz it was only one person in at a time and you are restrained by a barrier just inside the door. They didn't have the drops so I have to ...
