Re: Get on Your Bike!

I got the bike out this afternoon a brought it round the back into the yard. Pumped the tyres up and tightened the saddle which for some weird reason had worked a little loose? Main reason though was to fit the pedal spacers that I got a few weeks ago. Here are a couple of photo's. I have fitted the...

Her husband Andrew Murray is an 'interesting' character. somewhere to the left of Joseph Stalin in his political views.
Her husband hasn't been her husband since 1997 they divorced. He has been married to someone else since 2003.

It gets better - This lady Susan Michie is well in the news now. She was an 'expert' this morning on Radio 5Live's phone in. She is the daughter of Uncle Bob's subject, and the mother of the lady I mentioned above. Her husband Andrew Murray is an 'interesting' character. somewhere to the left of Jo...

Just think - contacting America from your back yard, with about the same power as an energy saving light bulb. With 5W erp and only 20m of wire. No multi element beams here. My chimney stack to a neighbours gable. As an aside, I have the transceiver working via CAT control now so I can setu...

Re: Free Radio Licence

As a general observation during lockdown. There is a surge in the number of amateur radio operators coming back to the hobby over the last few months. Other operators on the local nets have noticed the same. I have been back to the hobby now for 8 years or so and have recently been hearing callsigns...

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?

We had tea from McCullough's last night, Barlick Raj last Saturday. With not spending as much on lockdown we have decided to do takeaway once a week. Helps to support the local restaurants that are still in operation. I believe Orange Door are doing takeaways as is Mario's. Plenty of variation to ch...

Miscellaneous DIY Projects (or bits of jobs)

I thought I would start this thread for bits of jobs that don't fit into other major project slots like Kitchen Refurb and other bigger projects. My offering today was completing the install of Sally's new tomato growing propagator that we have in the back yard. Our old one dropped in bits, (as they...

Re: Blood Donors

That looks interesting Kev, Doesn't apply to me at the moment as far as I am aware. I am interested to see how Thursday pans out at Ermysteds. NHSBT have asked that donors turn up on time and not to early to their appointments. This to shorten the time you are at the session. Appointments only until...

Colin Smith who I worked with in Earby at Cook and Thornton's had Brucellosis. Started after he had been camping on a farm in Wales and drinking raw milk supplied from the dairy. He had it all his life and like you the symptoms tailed off in later life.

So I take it that they wont replace the meters unless you are still on standard ones. Just a software or firmware upgrade and a new readout unit? Not sure what happened here, my reply to Ian's post is below, Big Kev. It'll be down to your supplier if they replace the meters and IHD, the software opt...
