Re: Miscellaneous DIY Projects (or bits of jobs)
Oh...you are not kidding! I have (seemingly) acres of tiles to mop! Drives me mad. Mind you, I cannot live without big, open spaces, or big windows. Necessary for my mental health.

The other thing I like to view is Baptismal Fonts. To know your ancestor “got its head wet” right here is mind blowing.
Kind of like graves. You wonder who stood right HERE witnessing the event.

Always brings a tingle when you can connect the dots, Sue. I tortured my husband, dragging him around UK graveyards in the worst of weather! :laugh5: :laugh5: it always seems to be bad weather when we do it. Like’ oh its raining, lets go round a graveyard’ He sits stoically in the drivers’s seat sa...

Other than that, I expect we are down to lady bugs or butterflies...

House guest announced yesterday that they were staying another night and would proceed home late today. No problem really, but we had plans for today ( visiting a Vintage Caravan gathering). Didn’t want to abandon our plans, so there will be three of us going now. Likely we will need to source a bak...

Will get today’s walk in before the arrival (though hubby is snowed under with work today 😞) Lovely weather...hopefully we can enjoy a beer in the garden later, when gu...

I planted some miniature ones of those once. So small, I had to get down on my hands and knees to see them!

Re: WHAT ATTRACTED YOUR ATTENTION TODAY?
Maz, do you commemorate Anzac Day the same as we do for the armistice in November? We went to the war memorial and viewed the wreaths, then watched as those taking part in the parade assembled. We didn’t stay for the parade, as crowds were getting a bit thick for comfort ( I wore a mask). The best ...

Acknowledged Tiz...but my comments were in response your ( brief) comment. It was not an entire script of what you heard, but I responded to that BRIEF comment you made, regarding masks and worrying about variants. Personally, I think we SHOULD be worried about variants. I can’t get my thoughts acro...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
Funny thing is, I had to reach for sleeves this afternoon for the first time in 7 months. That meant a trip upstairs to a wardrobe where I put my Winter clothes. I pulled out the thinnest thing with sleeves I could find, shoved it on...and when I came back downstairs hubby said “ I have always liked...
