I am finding the tip I mentioned on the old site of keeping the cling film in the fridge brilliant, no more trying to find the end.

What's your recipe for pickled beetroot Moh? I've just opened my first jar and am disappointed that the vinegar flavour has completely overpowered the beetroot. :disappointed: I just cook it and then pickle it in pickling vinegar. Pork chops with onions, tomatoes and apple tonight, probably roastie...

Like us, can go on holiday anytime we like - pennies permitting. I often wonder how I found time to go to work. I do miss the social side of it, mixing with other people.

We have more than enough in Burnley - Asda, Sainsburys, Tesco, Co-op, Iceland, Lidle, Aldi, Farm Foods, and the one that was Netto I cannot remember its name. There are only the same amount of people, so surely they cannot all thrive. I like Morrisons too, but it is always so busy.

Very bright and sunny, lovely with the sun coming through the lounge window, but very cold out. I don't like the sound of the cold air coming from Eastern Europe at the weekend.

I think the lady with the damaged rescue dog was called Annie. When Sam, our Shih Tzu developed lymphoma we were advised to always use a harness on a dog then there was no pressure on the various elements in the throat.

Re: Looking for general advice
I use Family Tree Maker which I find quite easy to use and can link direct to Ancestry on the net. It is upgraded every year, I used the 2005 when I began but now use the 2011 version which I got free with a subscription to Your Family Tree magazine which I find very useful. It gives sites I did not...

Quite bright here, but very cold. This morning we had a dusting of fine snow but it did not last. The weather in Malta was not as good as I expected, the temps. were only in the top 50s, and there was a cold wind most days.
