G0DUI
He's listening every morning from about 7:30 until about teatime. S20...does that sound right? My terminology may be a little off but he does hubnet too. There's a group of them that chat every mornign, think that is on hubnet.

S20 is the 2M band calling channel 145.500 not hear him on that as it local VHF.

Hubnet is internet linked gateways we have a local one and It might be possible to link up. Depends on which modes and protocols he is using. Our local one is a simplex gateway MB7IVG on 144.9625 CTCSS access 103.5Hz

He says if you were to wake that one up, you would be on hubnet. It looks like it is permanently connected to hubnet.

Apparently I got it wrong, it's Allstar not hubnet. But also Echolink. He runs his own nodes, Allstar node 45831 Echolink gateway G0DUI-L. That's what he listens to all day. He's happy to arrange a sched if you wanted to meet up on hubnet.

Unintended consequences of the lock down? Nice to see you again Mel.

Good call sign - I am watching more Judge Judy than is good for me, at the moment, and thus I know that DUI is an abbreviation for driving under the influence.

Lol, I get notifications for this topic and wasn't busy when it came in.

Trust you are well Tripps. I guess Judge Judy is better than some daytime TV.

Thanks Stanley, all good here. A few changes in life since I was a frequent poster. I'm now a part time dog groomer and the occasional dog walker! Absolutely love it, feel like I found my path in life. My own three get a little jealous of it all though, I'm thoroughly inspected on returning home.

Off topic so forgive me, but this seems to be your main topic at the moment. I just checked out the Briecliffe Society website, and see that you and (our) Gloria are still very active there. I'm surprised it was only three years ago that I got the Ben Brierley and other books from Rex Watson - they seem to have been on my shelf for ever. Thanks again to you both.
