haha you lot make me laugh, im not that great and ballet dancing i dont think i will try as im sure the tights wouldnt look too good haha
yes nolic, my pencil drawings were hung on monday at the Royal West of England Art Academy for the month of July as they have made the finals in a competition.
i have other news about exhibiting which is exciting as i have been asked by a famous artist to show with him but i need a collection of paintings to show, which is a slight problem at the moment as i have NONE!!! working on it tho
heres a quick 30 min oil i quickly done last night of my mate in college, Evie. its small and very loose for me, i just fancied a change from all the fine detail of my other oil i am working on at the moment

It's good Conor. 'Loose' doesn't necessarily mean sloppy or bad if the talent is there.

thanks Stanley, Evie was pleased
ive decided to start another pencil portrait too as i keep having to stop painting waiting for the Oils to dry which seems to take forever, so to keep me busy during drying times ive started to draw Antony Hopkins. the same size as the Stephen Fry drawing A2, this is just the start of this work in progress but have already spent arpox 4 hours on him so far. rushing off to training now but heres a pic

Conor, that's because you're getting better with practice. This will stop when you reach 28 and go over the hill......

Nearest I ever got to that elevated status was to find that three of my mill pics are in the Magnum archive in NY next to Philip Jones Griffiths by an accident of indexing.....
Another small step in the right direction Conor. Good stuff.

Haha hopefully that's not the end of both our 15 mins of fame eh. I've been asked to enter the really big RWA comp, that's got £20,000 prize money! Now that would help get me a studio..
Thankyou Eileen it's kind of you to say
Progress on Antony Hopkins is good. Even I am beginning to think its looking like the photograph, I'm learning it's the details that count

It's good Connor....... Juvenile delinquency and similar faults get the publicity. Shining examples of the quality of the majority of our youth like you get hardly any. Go to it as a youth ambassador!

I've noticed that syndrome before Conor. The bad lads get sent on a jolly and the good get extra homework! Life isn't fair!

What sun is that Conor? Hope you enjoyed your weeks in Cornwall always good to have a break and recharge. Stanley fancy calling them knicker pictures when an artist like Conor calls them ribbons and lace Eileen
