Barlick Town Council has co-opted Matthew Kennedy and Andrew Murphy as councillors to fill the two vacancies.

I asked last night:

We are all aware of the recent media attention around gagging clauses in legal settlements.

Could the Council please tell me if it has ever used these types of contract, how many and why it thought it necessary to restrict any information falling into the public domain?

The clerk replied "Not to my knowledge"

A councillor replied "Never"

Would it be considered awkward if a couple of documents came to light that disproved that

The Town Council also agreed to sort out the bench on Weets after putting aside the money for it more than 2 years ago
