Yesterday the NE wind spoilt my sit on the bench opposite the bookies. It was bitter! At 20:00 it was breezy, cool and clear. Same first thing this morning and no change since. The glass is down on 1007mb. The forecast is for a possible rain shower before we move into a dry day, overcast with sunny intervals. The constant NE wind will be brisk and once more gust to over 40mph giving a high of 13C and a low of 5C with a -4C chill so wrap up warm again! The outlook is for similar cool weather.....
08:00. The rain never happened, we have a breeze and a clear sky.....

Yesterday afternoon was sunny and could be pleasant if you had shelter from the nagging NE wind. At 20:00 it was calm cold and clear and it's the same this morning. The glass is up slightly on 1009mb and the forecast is for a dry sunny day. The constant ENE wind is moderate and gusts to 30mph giving a high of 13C and a low of 3C with a chill of -3C. So wrap up warm again and try to keep out of the wind. There's a lot of heat in the sun and it can be pleasant if you are sheltered. The outlook is for similar weather and we may be heading for the driest April on record.

We are ready for temperatures like those here Cathy. We have plenty of daylight now, from 05:30 in the morning until 21:00 but not the warmth to go with it!
Yesterday afternoon was a rerun of what we have had for the last few days, a brisk NE wind negating the effects of the sun. Pleasant if you are sheltered but cold if you aren't! At 20:00 it was calm cool and cloudy. This morning it's the same, the glass is up again at 1014mb. The forecast is for a day of sunny intervals and perhaps even a light shower later. The ENE wind starts light but by mid morning is moderate and gives us a high of only 11C and a low of 2C tonight. There will be a -2C chill for most of the day. The message is still to wrap up warm. Depressingly, the outlook is for similar weather and temperatures. Balmy Spring weather isn't with us yet!
Later at 07:40... We've had a light shower which wasn't on the agenda....

Yesterday was a rerun of Sunday and today is another out of the same stable! At 20:00 it was calm, cool and clearing. This morning we had the same but with some wisps of cloud. I've just looked outside and we now have light broken overcast. The glass is up on 1018mb. The forecast is for a dry but cloudy day. The constant ENE wind is light and gives a high of 11C and a low of 1C with a gradually rising wind chill which will reach -3C this evening. Not balmy yet and the outlook is for similar weather into May.
Just like yesterday, we have had a light shower of rain that wasn't on the hymn sheet!

Yesterday was another grey day and though easier we still had that cool wind and the attendant chill. At 20:00 it was cool calm and clearing. This morning we had a clear sky but it's clouding over slowly now. The glass is up again on 1025mb and the forecast is for sunny intervals to start the day but reverting to overcast. The light ENE wind is constant and gives a high of 11C and a low of 0C tonight with a -2C chill during the day. It's very boring weather and the outlook is for nothing better, just similar cool, dry overcast weather as far as we can see into May.

Yesterday in Barlick it was gloomy and cold. At 20:00 it was calm cool and overcast. It's the same this morning. The glass is up again on on 1029mb. The forecast is for an overcast dry day. The wind is a light easterly and gives us a high of only 10C and a low of 3C with a -1C chill all day. The outlook is for similar overcast dry weather and we can expect a sub-tropical 14C during the next few days.....

Yesterday was gloomy and at 20:00 it was calm, dry and overcast. This morning it is still calm and cool but we have clear skies and the promise of a sunny day in the forecast. The glass is steady on 1030mb. The wind is once more a light easterly giving a high of 13C and a low of 3C with a -2C chill. The outlook is for more cool grey overcast weather with no rain in sight.

Yesterday was a brilliant day, much better that the forecast. It was warm sitting out in the sun all afternoon. At 21:00 it was calm cool and still clear. It's still calm and clear this morning, The glass is down a touch on 1028mb and the forecast is for a dry day with sunny intervals clouding over later. The light to moderate wind is mainly SW and gives a high of 14C and a low of 7C with a -2C chill. The outlook is unchanged, we go into May with dry cloudy weather. Nothing exciting on the cards one way or the other!

Not as good a day yesterday as Friday but better than the forecast for a while and then clouding over in the afternoon. By 20:00 it was calm and we had light rain. It was the same this morning but now the rain has stopped. The Glass is down on 1019mb and falling. The forecast is for a dry but overcast day. The SW wind is light and gives us a high of 11C and a low of 8C tonight with a -2C chill. The outlook continues to be boring, similar cool and overcast weather.

Yesterday was another boring day, grey overcast and a hint of rain at 20:00. Calm and cool this morning with evidence of very light rain during the night. Dry at the moment. The glass is steady on 1018mb. The forecast is for a dry overcast day. Not an exciting Bank Holiday. The mainly NW wind is light giving a high of 15C and a low of 7C with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for slightly more active weather, a bit warmer and some sunny spells and showers.

Yesterday was another boring weather day. At 20:00 it was calm cool and light rain. This morning is the same. The glass is up slightly on 1020mb. The forecast is for the light rain to become dry overcast later this morning. The light, mainly SE wind, gives us a high of 12C and a low of 9C with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for slightly brighter warmer weather but more broken and varied. We may be seeing the end of the blocking high that has been dominating the weather for weeks.

Yesterday afternoon was sunless and by 20:00 we had light rain. First thing this morning it was calm, cool and we had light rain. That has developed since into continuous significant rain. The glass has fallen to 1014mb and the forecast is for rain all day, ceasing around 18:00. The wind is a moderate westerly giving a high of 13C and a low of 6C with a chill of -3C. The outlook is for continuing overcast weather but warming slowly during the week.

Yesterday afternoon wasn't exciting but I have to admit that by 20:00 it was clear and we had full low sun. It was calm, dry and clear first thing and it is still clear now. The glass is up slightly on 1018mb and rising. The forecast is for it to cloud over until this evening but to stay dry. The constant West wind is moderate and gives us a high of 14C and a low of 10C with a chill of -2C. The outlook is for dry but overcast weather with temperatures tending to rise.

Yesterday it brightened up a bit late in the afternoon, At 20:00 we had a sunny evening but light scattered cloud. This morning it's calm, cool and again we have a light overcast. The glass is up on 1020mb and the forecast is overcast but dry until this afternoon when rain will set in for the rest of the day. The constant SW wind is moderate gusting to almost 30mph around midday and gives us a high of 14C and a low of 6C with a -3C chill with the strongest winds. The outlook is still for warmer broken weather, mainly dry and cloudy but with some sun later next week.
