Yesterday we had a dry afternoon and evening. At 20:00 it was overcast, calm and dry but cold. First t5hing this morning it's the same but the CH had come on! The glass is up on 1016mb. The forecast is for sunny intervals giving way to cloud but dry. The wind starts as a light NW and then swings to NE giving us a high of 19C and a low of 11C with hardly any wind chill. The next five days are the same as today.

I've had my early walk, it's calm, dry and cool. (The CH is on again....) The cloud could be breaking a bit but no sun coming in yet. Not flaming June.....

Yesterday the sun arrived in the afternoon and was fierce when there was a good break in the cloud. At 20:00 we had an almost clear sky and sun coming in from the west. This morning it's calm, cloudy and milder than yesterday. The glass is steady on 1017mb. The forecast is for a cloudy start then sunny intervals. The constant east wind is light to moderate and gives us a high of 8C and a low of 11C with a -2C chill later on. Same forecast as yesterday. The outlook is unexciting apart from a hint of sun and higher temperatures expected in about 5 days.....
Later... I've had a short walk. Not cold and the overcast seems to be breaking slowly. There may be hope for us yet!

Yesterday was a nice afternoon. At 20:00 it was calm, dry and cloudy, same this morning. The glass is back slightly on 1015mb. The forecast is for a dry sunny day clouding over this evening. The wind is constant, light and from the east. It gives a high of 19C and a low of 13C with only a slight chill. The outlook is looking brighter and warmer.
It's quite noticeable now that daylight is a bit later arriving in the morning. Sad as we are only just beginning to see the chance of a bit of summer!

The cloud won yesterday. At 20:00 it was overcast and we saw no sun until sunset when it peeped under the cloud in the west briefly. There is evidence of a light shower during the night but at the moment it's calm, dry and overcast. The glass is down a touch on just over 1013mb. The forecast is cloudy but sunny intervals later. The constant light to moderate east wind gives a high of 21C and a low of 11C. The wind chill of -2C will coincide with the warmest temperatures this afternoon and so will be a pleasant breeze. The 5 day outlook is for similar weather, more cloud than anything else.
Later.... I've been out and had a look at the rabbit. It's a calm dry morning with heavy cloud cover. Sooner it breaks the better!

We had a heavy shower around 9pm yesterday, I was outside feeding ponies and intending to water plants, I didn't need to water but I got soaked feeding the ponies.
This morning at 6.45am...

That looks about right Wendy. I was asleep at 21:00 so missed the shower. It's brightening a bit but we're still clouded in.....

We gradually lost the sun yesterday afternoon and at 20:00 it was calm, dry and we had broken cloud. Same this morning but not the low cloud like yesterday, proper broken clouds with gaps showing and dawn light in the East. The glass is hardly changed on 1015mb. The forecast gives sunny intervals but clouding by nightfall. The constant east wind is light and tends mainly to NE giving us a high of 19C and a low tonight of 9C with hardly any wind chill. The outlook is improved, cloud tomorrow but then 4 days of sunny and warmer weather. Not flaming June but an improvement.
Later at 05:30. I've had my early walk, the sky is mainly clear but heavier cloud in the east is blocking the sun.

Yesterday it took the sun a while to burn through but we ended up with a nice sunny day. At 20:00 we still had sun from the west. First thing this morning it was calm and dry and from the halo round the moon, it looks as though we have that valley cloud again. The glass is unchanged on 1015mb. The forecast is for a sunny day. The wind is a constant very light NE giving a high of 20C and a low of 13C with no chill. The outlook for the next five days is for similar weather with happen an odd shower.

Yesterday was a lot hotter than forecast I think. Too hot to sit in direct sunlight for me. At 20:00 it was calm and clouding over. This morning it has not changed, calm, cloudy and dry. The glass has fallen slightly to 1014mb. The forecast is for a cloudy dry day. The constant light wind is mainly SW giving a high of 19C a low of 13C and minimal wind chill. The outlook for the next five days is slightly cooler mixed weather with both sun and rain. Barlick Holiday weather. (Today would have been the start of the Annual Wakes fortnight.)

Again, I think yesterday was hotter than forecast, sun until teatime. At 20:00 it was dray mild calm and cloudy. Same this morning but the cloud broken and heavier. The glass is down on 1009mb. The forecast is for thundery rain to came in at 07:00 and persist most of the day. The light mainly SE wind gives a high of 18C and a low of 13C with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for more mixed unexciting Barlick Holiday weather.

Just had a short walk. There has been a spatter of very large rain drops and there is fine rain in the air now. The forecast of thundery rain could be accurate.

Scary! That storm was very close with torrential rain. One lightning strike caused a switch in the router to go pop but Col has managed to sort it. The burning smell was worrying but everything else seems ok.

Yesterday was showery after late morning but no great weight of rain. The lightning and thunder around 22:00 woke me up and the flags this morning show signs of rain during the night. This morning we have a lot of cloud cover but one big clear spell coming in. The glass is down on 1003mb. The forecast is for cloud until noon and sunny spells and rain after that with a yellow warning of thunder. It's a re-run of yesterday, constant light SE wind, 19C high and 13C low and negligible chill. The outlook is for similar weather.

Yesterday ended up being a damp day. At 20:00 it was calm, mild and damp. First thing this morning it was calm and we had light rain, I've just looked outside and it's still raining. The glass is down on 998mb. The forecast is rain followed by sunny intervals this afternoon. The constant WSW wind is moderate and gives a high of 16C and a low of 11C with a -2C wind chill all day. The outlook is for similar cool, cloudy weather for the foreseeable future. Typical Barlick Wakes weather!
