That doesn't surprise me Wendy and I hope it doesn't last too long. It's falling as cold rain down here. Amazing what a difference 500ft makes!

We’ve had overnight rain here, fine but damp now, and a lot colder.

Yesterday got progressively colder, at 20:00 the sky was clearing and it was cold. First thing this morning it was calm, frosty, a clear sky and we had a light covering of frozen snow. No change since. The glass is up slightly on 1008mb. The forecast is sunny intervals and light snow later this morning. The constant north wind is brisk giving a high of 5C and a low of -1C with as much as a -6C chill late this morning. The outlook is for similar weather and perhaps slightly less cold.

A light dusting here in Foulridge, I would imagine there's a bit more up on the mountain with Wendy.

Not much more snow up here Kev, just yesterday's fall frozen hard! We have had one light shower this morning, just the edge of the heavy belt of snow in the east.

This is our weather, here in Adelaide, for the coming week.
Last night we put our clocks back one hour.
It will be strange having sunset at 6 o’clock tonight.
These temps are wonderful, no higher.

Yesterday was wet and windy and it was windy all night. This morning the wind has dropped and we have light rain. The glass is down on 1003mb. The forecast is for rain all day. (Good for my wild flower seeds!). The constant west wind will be brisk and gust to over 35mph. The high is 9C and the low 6C with a -4C chill. The outlook is for similar but perhaps brighter weather.

Another wet day yesterday. It was raining at 20:00 and still raining first thing this morning. No change since apart from being heavier now. (Deep Joy!) The glass is down on 990mb and still falling. The forecast is for heavy rain all day. The WSW wind is brisk and gusts to 40mph giving a high of 9C and a low of 3C tonight. There is a constant wind chill of -4C all day. The outlook is for dryer weather but not a lot milder. (Sorry Margaret!)

Yesterday finished up by settling into wind and rain. This morning it's raining and blowing and the glass is down on 971mb and falling. The forecast is for heavy rain all day. The strong wind will settle on WNW later and gust to over 50mph giving a high of 6C and a low of -1C with a -6C chill. It will feel sub zero all day. Margaret will be glad to fly out of this! The outlook is for dryer brighter weather and for it to warm up.
02:30. Blowing a gale and rain pouring down. Glass still falling and on 969mb. This is a lousy morning.
04:00. Glass still falling.....

It rained and blew all day yesterday. At 20:00 it was calmer, it had stopped raining and we had some late evening sunshine. This morning it's calm, dry and cool under a clear sky. It hasn't changed. The glass has leapt up to 993mb and is still rising. The forecast is for a mainly sunny day, possibility of light showers after midday. The light to moderate NW wind gives a high of 8C and a low of 0C tonight with up to -4C chill. The outlook is for similar quiet weather, perhaps getting a bit warmer later next week.

Yesterday was fine until mid afternoon when we had a heavy sleet shower, which lasted no time at all then back to sunshine. Today is bright and sunny, a lovely day for Ladies Day at Aintree, if you fancy a trip out.

Yesterday we had a splash of rain at midday and a few spatters later but on the whole it was dry. At 20:00 it was calm, cool and clearing. This morning it's calm clear and cold. The glass has gone up to 1007mb and rising. The forecast is for a mainly sunny day, more cloud later. The mainly NW wind is moderate and gives a high of 7C and a low of 0C with a -4C chill, you still need to wrap up! The outlook is for cloudier but warmer weather.
