Yesterday was a good day with full sun all day. At 20:00 we still had sun coming in from the west and it was calm and mild. Same first thing this morning, calm, cool and clear. The glass is steady on 1025mb. The forecast is for full sun all day again. The wind is a light easterly giving a high of 16C and a low of 5C with a -1C chill. Positively tropical and the warmest day this year I suspect. The outlook is for similar weather for the next three days and then perhaps a slight deterioration but nothing serious.

Lovely day yesterday and at 20:00 it was calm, mild and a clear sky. Same first thing this morning but perhaps a touch of cloud coming in now. The glass is steady on 1025mb. The forecast is for the cloud to clear by mid morning and full sun for the rest of the day. The east wind will start light and increase slightly to moderate and gives us a high of 15C a low of 1C and negligible wind chill. The outlook is for cooler and more cloudy weather but nothing serious and certainly mainly dry.

Yesterday was not quite as sunny but still a very acceptable day. Warm enough to sit out comfortably in the afternoon. At 20:00 it was clear and calm. First thing this morning it was calm with broken cloud and cool. Still the same now. The glass is up slightly on 1027mb. The forecast is for a bright overcast morning with sunny intervals and then full sun in the afternoon. The light east wind is constant and gives a high of 12C a low of 0C tonight and a -2C wind chill all day. The outlook is for it to cool slightly but remain mainly dry.

Yesterday was a good day but by 20:00 the change was obvious, we had heavy overcast. It was the same first thing this morning and as it comes light we can see the heavy broken cloud. The glass is down on 1007mb and still falling. The forecast is for sunny intervals and increasingly heavy showers after 08:00 and through the day. The light wind starts as WSW and ends the day as ENE. The high is 10C and the low tonight 4C with a maximum -2C chill this afternoon. The outlook is for basically the same unsettled weather for the next five days.

Yesterday we had light showers and at 20:00 we had just had one. Just enough to wet the roofs. It was calm, clouded and mild. Same this morning, calm, mild and completely clouded over but dry. The glass hasn't moved and is steady on 1007mb. The forecast is for a cloudy but dry day. The brisk ENE wind will be constant and gives a high of 9C and a low of 1C with a -4C chill. The outlook is for similar dull weather for the next five days but mainly dry.

Yesterday was not bad really, for most of the day the rain was only spotting and spitting, it wasn't until later in the day it wet the slates. At 20:00 it was damp, clouded and a light breeze. First thing this morning it was calm, cloudy and dry and it's still the same. Now it's light I can see the cloud is light and broken. The glass is only slightly changed on 1008mb. The forecast is for a mixed day, sunny intervals and the chance of a light shower. The wind is mainly from the north and is light giving a high of 8C and a low of-1C tonight with as much as a -4C wind chill when the wind is at its strongest. The outlook is for similar weather for the next five days.

Just been onto the Town Square for some gentle veggie shopping and some fresh fish.
Lovely bright sunshine which has real heat in it but that North wind is living up to its reputation and giving at least -4C wind chill. I suppose it's good for us.....

Got my leaflet thank you.
At 20:00 it was clearing, dry and cold. First thing this morning it's the same and we have a frost I think, certainly nippy out there! The glass is up on 1012mb. The forecast is for an overcast day with a dry morning and light showers this afternoon. The light and variable wind is mainly NE and gives a high of 8C and a low of 1C with a chill of -3C when the wind is strongest. The outlook as we go into May is for the same cool variable weather.

It was dull yesterday mostly but I managed half an hour on the form opposite Post Office Corner and even had a bit of warming sun but then it shut down and basically we had light rain for a few hours. At 20:00 it was dry, calm and the sky was clearing. Clear sky all night and first thing this morning it was calm, cool clear and just the odd cloud. I see now we have broken cloud cover but it is still calm and dry. The glass is up slightly on 1014mb. The forecast is for a sunny start to the day but more cloud developing as we go into afternoon. The light and variable North wind gives us a high of 9C and a low of 0C tonight with a 12C chill most of the day. The outlook is for similar weather for the next five days. Monday could perhaps be wet.
Question, did I see a flash of lightning as it got dark last night?

It was the same here Gloria. I want for my walk and had a sit watching the lights on the pedestrian crossing for my daily dose of excitement. It was quite warm while the sun was out but it's gone in now and it's a bit nippy. Warmer in the house.

Yesterday ended up being dry but nippy. At 20:00 we had an almost clear sky and it was clear during the night. This morning it was clear, cold and calm with a clear sky. Could be very close to a frost later. The glass has risen a touch and is just a shade over 1015mb. The forecast is for a cloudy day, perhaps some sun after midday and the chance of a light shower. The constant west wind starts light but is moderate by the end of the day giving a high of 10C and a low of 3C with a -3C wind chill in the afternoon. Tomorrow looks like a bad day with wind and rain, the rest of the week is less violent, just cold and dry.... Deep Joy!

Yesterday was a day of intervals, some sun and most rain! At 20:00 it was calm, clouded and dry. Same first thing this morning and now. The glass is down on 1013mb and falling fast. The forecast is for it to be calm and dry until about 08:00 when things start to worsen as the wind rises and the rain starts. The wind is mainly SW and starts calm but becomes strong with gusts up to over 40mph during the afternoon. This gives a high of 8C, a low of 4C and a wind chill of as much as -5C when the wind is strongest. Then 3 days of cold changeable weather before the temperature starts to rise in time for next weekend.
06:00. Very still outside, dead calm. 100% overcast and there has been a light spatter of rain but at the moment it's dry. The calm before the storm?
The Met office are already saying that this is the coldest May Bank Holiday on record. Enjoy....
