Later.... I have had my walk, a bit of specialised veggie shopping and a survey of activity in the Square, lots of groupies and crew about and I think they are gearing up for performances this afternoon.
I had a sit opposite the bookies and it is very pleasant, not Flaming June but pleasant enough.

Watched a very good band, they finished at 13:15, Screams of Youth. Had a spot o' lunch in Mcculloughs and will be coming back for 20:45 when middle offspring is singing with Overload. Plenty of guitar based classic rock songs for an hour, I'll be ready for bed then.
The sun is due to put in an appearance at 18:00

This is today's forecast, I forgot to post it!
Yesterday afternoon was bright and sunny, far batter than the forecast. At 20:00 it was calm clear and mild with full sun. First thing this morning its calm and dry but with a light overcast. The glass is up on 1021mb. The forecast is for a dry sunny day. The constant east wind is brisk and gives a high of 16C and a low of 8C with a -3C chill most of the day. The outlook is a bit cooler tomorrow then warmer, bright overcast days with little rain.
Was I dreaming when it promised sunny weather? We have miserable grey overcast instead.....

Yesterday afternoon disappointed, none of the wall to wall sun we were promised in the forecast. At 20:00 we had late sun but the overcast soon won out again. First thing this morning it was still overcast, calm dry and cold. It hasn't changed since. The glass is down on 1018mb. The forecast is for an overcast but mainly dry day, however they are warning of possible thunderstorms at any time. The constant ENE wind is brisk and gives us a high of 12C with a low of 9C tonight and up to -3C chill during the day. The overall effect is single figure temperatures all day, Deep Joy! The outlook is for slightly warmer brighter weather but no heat wave!

Definitely plenty of heavy rain and strong winds here, it’s been the same for days.

The sun might shine just a little, in a week or so. It’s freezing here, a real cold snap from the southwest. Brrr... 🌨 ☔️ 💨

About the same as us Cathy but we also have a -3C wind chill so single figures for most of the day. Deep Joy!

Yesterday afternoon was dull with occasional light rain. None of the thunder that was predicted. At 20:00 it was cool and dull. First thing this morning, calm, cool and overcast with evidence of a recent light rain shower. No change since. The glass is down on 1012mb. The forecast is one word, cloudy! The mainly northerly wind is light and variable swinging from east to west and back again. It gives us a 14C high and a 7C low with a -2C chill at times. The outlook is for brighter and warmer weather but no heat wave yet.

Yesterday afternoon was dull and cloudy but dry. At 20:00 we had a light breeze, it was overcast but late sun was coming in under the overcast from the sunset in the West. This morning it is calm, overcast, dry and milder than of late. The glass is down on 1010mb. The forecast is for sunny intervals at each end of the day but overcast in the late morning and early afternoon. The wind is light and variable, tending northerly in the morning and southerly for the rest of the day. We have 17C for a high and 11C for a low tonight with barely -1C chill all day, so a bit warmer. The outlook is for similar weather with perhaps a chance of thunder tomorrow. Don't hold your breath for flaming June!

Yesterday was a good day and the sun was very strong! At 20:00 we still had full sun but some cloud was coming in. During the night we had heavy rain, first thing this morning it had bated and we just had heavy overcast but since then the heavy rain has started again. The glass is down on 998mb and falling. The forecast is for rain almost all day with occasional sunny intervals. The wind starts in the east but soon settles down to a constant moderate west wind that gives a high of 16C, a low of 11C and a chill of -3C for most of the day. The outlook is for virtually the same broken weather for the next week.

Yesterday the afternoon was better than forecast but you still had to dodge the showers. At 20:00 it was calm, dry and clear. First thing this morning it was calm dry and overcast, no change there. The glass is up on 1005mb and rising slowly. The forecast is for sunny intervals this morning but clouding as the day goes on and light rain showers early this evening. No change in the outlook which is for similar boring weather.

Yesterday the light showers came in on schedule at 16:00. At 20:00 it was dry but overcast and this morning first thing we had a clear sky with some scattered cloud coming in form the3 west. Now we have a clear sky with early sun coming in. The glass is up on 1010mb and rising. The forecast is for a dry day with quite a lot of sun about. The constant WSW wind is brisk and gusts to 30mph at times giving a high of 18C and a low of 12C with as much as a -4C chill when the wind is strongest. The outlook is for similar weather but cooler.

Yesterday was a very pleasant day and at 20:00 it was calm, mild, dry and overcast. First thing this morning it was the same and nothing has changed. The glass is steady on 1010mb and the forecast looks like a rerun of yesterday but slightly cooler. We are promised a cloudy but dry day with lots of sunny intervals. The constant WSW is brisk and gusts to 40mph giving a high of 16C and a low of 11C with a -5C chill at times. The outlook is for overcast and cooler weather.

Yesterday was breezy but by 20:00 the wind had dropped and we had rain. This morning first thing we had only a light breeze, it was dry and mild. I've just looked out and we have low broken cloud now but still dry. The glass is up on 1016mb. The forecast is for a day of sunny spells and showers. The wind is once again WSW or W and is brisk but only gusting to 35mph. The high will be 14C and the low 9C with -4C chill when the wind is strongest around noon. The outlook is for overcast weather but warming up during the week. Don't get excited, no heat wave yet!
05:30. I stand corrected, the Express says we will have record breaking temperatures by the end of the week!

Our torrential rain has stopped , thank goodness because we were blown to bits and very soggy for a while 😂. Lots of damage done too.
We are a little bit chilly, but it’s now normal winter weather.

We have a public holiday tomorrow for The Queen’s Birthday. Thanks Ma’am. 😊

I've had my walk and a sit at the end of Albert Road. That wind is cold and you need to be wrapped up really well for it not to get at you. It started spitting with rain as I got into the back street on my way home. It's not a hot summers day!

Yesterday afternoon the cloud gathered and by 20:00 we had significant rain. I think it's been clear through the night, we had an almost full moon but it's a light breeze and cloudy this morning. The glass is up slightly on 1019mb and rising. The forecast is for a dry but cloudy day. The mainly west wind is constant and slightly lighter than yesterday giving a high of 14C and a low of 9C with a -3C chill at times. The outlook is for overcast and warming for three days and then full sun and 23C for Friday. Could be Barlick summer!

Once again the afternoon deteriorated and at 20:00 we had light rain. First thing this morning we had a light breeze, an overcast sky but dry. It's the same now. The glass is steady on 1019mb The forecast is for a dry overcast day with increasing sun later. The light wind starts as SW but ends the day as NW giving a high of 16C, a low of 9C and a maximum chill of -2C this morning. The outlook is for three warmer days then back to weather like we have been having.

Yesterday the afternoon never warmed up and we never had the sun that was promised. At 20:00 it was overcast but dry. This morning first thing we had an almost perfectly clear sky and it was calm and dry. It's still the same. The glass is down on 1015mb and the forecast is for a dry overcast day with sunny intervals. (That's what they said yesterday but it never happened!) The light wind starts as ENE and ends the day as WNW giving a high of 19C and a low tonight of 8C with a -2C chill. The outlook is for two more warm days and then back to 15C and overcast.
