The wind was the story yesterday and we ended the day with a breezy overcast but dry at 20:00. First thing this morning we had a brisk wind and broken cloud overcast, fresh but dry. I've looked outside and the wind has dropped a bit and the overcast is a lot thicker. The glass is up on 1005mb and the forecast is for significant rain starting soon and lasting until this afternoon when we could get some sunny spells. The mainly SW winmd is moderate but not as gusty as yesterday. The high will be 15C and the low 11C with a -3C wind chill. The outlook is for very similar weather, no sudden heat wave yet!
Later at 05:20. It's started raining......

At 20;00 we had full sun and the wind was easing. First thing this morning and we have a breezy dry morning with overcast. It's chilly out there. The glass is up on 1012mb. The forecast is for sunny spells but clouding later and rain coming in this evening. The brisk constant south wind gusts to 35mph and gives a high of 17C and a low of 12C with a -4C chill. The outlook is for similar broken weather with showers and similar temperatures also.

We started to get rain showers before 16:00 yesterday. At 20:00 they were still with us and first thing this morning it was dry and overcast with evidence of a shower during the night. Since then we have rain but at the moment that has bated. The glass is down on 1006mb. The forecast is for the day to develop as one of sunny intervals but later this morning a succession of showers for the rest of the day. The Southerly wind is moderate and gives a high of 18C and a low of 12C with only a slight wind chill. The outlook is for similar temperatures but brighter and dryer.

I know I'm a whingeing old bugger but yesterday was (for me) a grey cold day and yes I know it's probably connected with age but it's still miserable. At 20:00 the light rain had stopped but first thing this morning we had a strong wind and heavy rain. I've just popped out and the wind has dropped but we still have light rain although the overcast is breaking up. The glass is steady on 1006mb and the forecast is for a day of sunny intervals becoming cloudier later and with a chance of a light rain shower. The constant light SW wind gives us a high of 17C and a low of 11C with only a slight wind chill. The outlook is for similar weather for the next week.

Yesterday the weather worsened into the afternoon and then brightened up later with full sun coming in under heavy cloud at 20:00. This morning first thing it was calm and dry under a light overcast sky, it is still the same. The glass is up slightly at 1008mb and the forecast is for heavy rain to come in by 08:00. The constant WSW wind is moderate and gives us a high of 16C and a low of 12C with a wind chill that could get to -3C at times. The outlook is for similar weather, no heat wave in sight!

Yesterday the afternoon was better than forecast, however, by 20:00 we had very heavy cloud and a suspicion of rain on the wind. It rained during the night but first thing this morning it was cool, breezy and dry under an overcast sky. It soon started raining though it has dried up since. The glass is up slightly on 1009mb. The forecast is for a cloudy showery day with some sunny intervals later. The SW wind is moderate and at the moment is gusting to 35mph but this will ease shortly. The high is 16C and the low 12C with up to -3C wind chill. The outlook is for similar broken weather, perhaps slightly warmer by the end of next week.

Yesterday was a re-run of Friday, catchy weather in the afternoon and at 20:00 full sun coming in under the cloud cover from the west. First thing this morning we had a breeze and clear sky with some scattered high cloud. This has developed into full overcast and light rain. The glass is up on 1012mb and rising. The forecast is cloudy with heavy showers around midday and sunny intervals this afternoon. The West wind is moderate and gives us a high of 16C a low of 12C and a chill of -3C at times when the wind gets into the NW. The outlook is for similar weather, tending to more cloud. So no summer yet.

Yesterday was a re-run of the day before and today doesn't look much different. At 20:00 it was fine with low sun coming in but soon clouded over. First thing this morning it was breezy but dry under an overcast sky. Correction, no sooner had I written that it started raining, fine wetting stuff. The glass is up slightly at 1015mb. The forecast is for an overcast day with light showers and sunny intervals. The constant west wind is brisk and gusts to over 30mph at times. The high is 15C and the low 11C with a -3C chill when the wind is strongest. The outlook is for similar gloomy weather but perhaps warming slightly later in the week.

Yesterday was, in short, another mainly clouded and overcast day. At 20:00 it was dry but totally overcast, no late sun. First thing this morning it was calm, clear and dry but now it is once more overcast. The glass is up on 1019mb and rising. The forecast is for another overcast day, light showers possible early on and sunny spells later. The mainly WNW wind is moderate and gives a high of 16C, a low of 13C and a wind chill of -3C for much of the day. In short another grey day but with the possibility of being slightly better than yesterday. The outlook is for more overcast weather with perhaps slowly rising temperatures. Not really summer weather....

Yesterday was saved only by the sunny intervals later. The wind was again a spoiler as I sat on the benches opposite the bookies. Cloudy later on but at 20:00 a short period of sun coming in under the cloud. First thing this morning it was calm, dry mild and overcast. Since that we have had a light shower. The glass is up a touch on 1022mb. The forecast is for a dull day! Deep Joy. The constant West wind is brisk and gusts to 35mph giving a high of 17C a low of 12C and a chill of -3C for most of the day. The outlook is for similar non-summer weather.
07:30. The light rain has stopped and the sky is brightening but not much!

Yesterday was a day of gloom and a chilling wind. At 20:00 there was no sun at all, just heavy cloud. First thing this morning we had a light breeze and thin overcast accompanied by a light cool breeze. I've just looked outside and we now have a very fine mizzle blowing on the wind. The glass is unchanged on 1022mb. The forecast is for a dry day with much more sunny intervals than yesterday. The mainly NW wind is light for most of the day and we can expect a high of 19C and a low of 12C but with a chill of -3 later in the day as the wind rises a bit. The outlook is for similar weather and early next week we can expect some much warmer weather.

Yesterday was an improvement. At 20:00 we had full sun. First thing this morning we had a light breeze, a clear sky and it was dry and mild. Still the same now. The glass is up on 1028mb and rising. The forecast is for a sunny start then cloudier later. The constant West wind is moderate and gives a high of 17C and a low of 12C with a -3C chill at midday. I'm pleased to say the outlook is summery, lots of sun and much warmer days.

Yesterday ended cloudy except for a final burst of late sunshine at dusk. This morning we have a light breeze, it's mild dry and overcast. The glass is steady on 1027mb. The forecast is for full sun all day. The wind will be a light WNW for much of the day giving a high of 19C and a low of 11C with a -1C chill. The outlook is for cloudier weather but much warmer.....

Yesterday was a nice sunny day but I have to say that that wind was chilly if you were sat in the shade! At 20:00 we still had full sun. First thing this morning we had a light breeze and it was dry under a sky that was starting to cloud over. The wind has dropped since than and it's dry under a solid overcast. The glass has fallen slightly and is on 1026mb. The forecast is for the overcast to clear soon and then full sun all day. The constant West wind is light and gives us a high of 22C and a low of 11C with perhaps a -2C chill in the late afternoon. The outlook is for overcast weather but still warm like today.

Nights are much colder, we have had 3C a few times now. Brrr!
We have a “Buck Supermoon” on Wednesday night. It will be our brightest Supermoon of the year. I hope the skies are clear 😊

Yesterday we had full sun all day and very little wind. Just enough to make it comfortable if you were sat out in the sun. At 20:00 it was calm and clear and we had full sun. First thing this morning it was calm and clear and it's still the same. The glass is down on 1020mb and still falling. The forecast is for early sun but more cloud later. The mainly westerly wind is very light and variable giving us a high of 24C a low of 17C and negligible wind chill. The outlook is for more warm weather but more cloud and even the odd shower later in the week. Very growy. This could very well be Barlick summer!
