There's a definite chill in the wind, bedding is blowing nicely. First outdoor linefull for 2021, I should mark the occasion with something. Think I'll put the kettle on :-)

There’s been some warmth in the sun here today, very spring like.
And I got some washing out as well Kev.

Yesterday showed a change and at 20:00 it was cool, clear and a full house of stars and an almost full moon (full tomorrow). This morning it has become partly clouded over but is still calm and cool. The glass is up with a bang to 1029mb and the forecast is for a misty start and then into a dry day with plenty of sunny spells. The light to moderate SW wind gives a high of 8C a low of 3C and a an early wind chill of -4C falling to -3C later. The outlook is for very similar weather for the next five days.
05:25. Been for a short walk, no mist, no frost but a light breeze that feels a bit chilly. M ore cloud than earlier, no stars or moon in sight. But it's dry!

Sun shining, all bad news I had to clean the windows. That's twice in six months.

I've had a walk.... chilly but bracing. What attracted me was seeing about eight Openreach vans clustered round the Wellhouse end of the Green. I think Ian is correct we are being fibred!

The pole at the bottom of Bessie Street at the back has had at least six visits in the last 10 days or so. Open Reach have been all over the Croft on the poles and the various ducting pits around the area. Mob handed you might say, female engineer yesterday with three other guys.

She was with the gang behind Cravenside yesterday, they were lifting the lid on the big duct there.
Yesterday was a good afternoon I had a nice walk at dinnertime. At 20:00 it was clear and cold, light breeze and dry. We had a good full moon later and this morning it was still clear and cold. Its still dry but has clouded over a bit. The glass is up again on 1036mb. The forecast is for the cloud to burn off by noon and we should have a sunny afternoon. The light constant west wind gives a high of 9C and a low of 2C. The wind chill starts at -4C but drops back to -2C later. The outlook is for similar settled weather for the next five days.

Yesterday was good, very sunny afternoon. At 20:00 it was calm, cold and clear with a brilliant full moon. Same first thing this morning and no change as yet. The glass is steady on 1036mb and the forecast is for a dry sunny day. The wind is very light and variable, comes out of the north quite a lot! The high will be 9C and the low 2C with an early chill of -2C. The outlook is still for good weather if slightly colder.

Good day yesterday and at 20:00 we had a clear sky, calm, cold and a brilliant moon. First thing was the same but the moon has set. The glass is down a touch on 1031mb. The forecast is for full sun all day. The wind is a light constant easterly that gives a high of 8C a low of 1C and a wind chill of -3C. Another good walking day and the outlook remains the same, good settled weather.

I've had my morning's sleep and they spoke with fork tongue when they forecast full sun all day. I may have been unlucky but I haven't see any sun at all yet.

Same here Stanley, the mist keeps receding slightly but then returns. It is bitterly cold too with a nithering easterly breeze.

I've just been to the post box and agree with you Wendy. It's cold. I like 'nithering'. :biggrin2:

I often use nithering, it's what constitutes a properly descriptive word in my book.
