Yesterday was a much better day and we had sun all, day until evening when it clouded over. At 20:00 it was calm, mild, overcast and dry. Same this morning. The glass is up on 1018mb. The forecast is for a cloudy but dry day. The mainly westerly wind is very light and gives us 16C for a high and 11C for a low tonight. The wind chill is negligible.
The outlook is for warmer weather with more sun and is more like late Spring or early Summer weather.
05:17. Just had a walk. Odd spots of rain on the wind which weren't in the script. It's mild, totally clouded over except for orange dawn light in the East.

Lovely day yesterday, even felt like summer. Had a light shower earlier on today, but not enough to wet under the trees, now still and overcast, it feels as though the sun wants to break through but it’s not making much of an effort.

I've been for a walk and a sit on the bench watching life go by, shirtsleeves and Dryza bone waistcoat. We are getting spots of rain, you can't call them showers. Calm and mild.... Things could be worse.

Yesterday was disappointing, cloud and spots of rain all day, no sun but mild. It was still calm and cloudy at 20:00. This morning it's calm, mild and we have a light broken cloud cover. The glass is up on 1022mb. The forecast is for a day of cloud, sunny intervals and light showers possible this afternoon. The wind is very light and variable and covers most points of the compass giving a high of 18C a low of 0C and no wind chill. From tomorrow onwards we are promised full sun all day for a week!
Later... 05:00. I've been for a walk and so far we have clear sky over Barlick. We may get more sun than forecast.

Much the same here yesterday Stanley. This morning, light cloud, with smatterings of dark clouds floating about, much warmer, if the cloud shifts it’s going to be hot this afternoon.

Yesterday was a reasonable afternoon but not quite summer! At 20:00 it was calm, mild and dry with light cloud. This morning it was the same but a clear sky. The glass is up again on 1027mb and the forecast is for full sun all day. The constant light to moderate east wind gives a high of 20C and a low of 6C with a -2C chill. The outlook for the next five days is similar weather and even warmer. Rag off Kids, this could be summer!
06:00. I've had a short walk and it's a perfect morning. Literally not a cloud in the sky wherever you look and the sun coming in from dawn onwards. This should be a very good day!

Yesterday was a perfect summer day, full sun all day. This morning looks like a repeat, perfectly clear except for some cloud in the east. The glass is don a touch on 1021mb. The forecast is full sun all day. The light to moderate easterly wind gives a high of 21C and a low of 8C with a -3C chill when the wind is at its strongest. The outlook for the next five days is for similar weather.
06:00. I've been for a walk round the block. The light breeze is chilly but the cloud in the east which is blocking much of the sun at the moment will soon clear I think. Once we get full sun the chill will vanish.

Yesterday was perfect and at 20:00 it was calm, mild and sunny with a cloudless sky. This morning it's still calm and clear, every chance of another good day. The glass is down on 1015mb. The forecast is for full sun all day. The constant light to moderate ESE wind gives a high of 22C and a low of 10C with a -3C chill this afternoon which could drop the temperature to 19C, big deal! The outlook.... another day like this tomorrow and then slightly cooler cloudier weather comes in for a while.

Yesterday was another perfect day. At 20:00 it was calm, clear and sunny. First thing this morning it was calm and clear and already coming light at 03:00. The glass is down slightly on 1013mb. The forecast is for another day of full sun. The constant light to moderate east wind give us a high of 22C and a low of 11C with a -3C chill this afternoon. The outlook is for similar weather but not quite as hot. Tomorrow could be cloudy.

Set a fashion trend going in Barlick. Never mind the baggy shorts put your kilt on. I saw one yesterday in Colne he looked..., I'll say no more, but made me smile. I know you'll do it with some style so get out there Stanley and flash a kneecap or two. :biggrin2:

Problem with that is that kilts are very warm. It would be quite uncomfortable actually to wear one in weather this hot.
I've had me walk and sit and I think it's hotter, certainly more close, than yesterday. Not complaining! :biggrin2:

The forecast indicates a day of cloud, sunny intervals and showers. The wind starts as a light easterly but by early afternoon has swung into the NW giving us a high of 17C and a low of 9C with negligible wind chill. The next five days will be similar but drier and more sun.
05:50. I've had a short walk. It's cool, calm and dry with much more broken cloud than of late. But still pleasant.

The showers never came yesterday in Barlick. At 20:00 we had broken cloud and it was dry. This morning we have 50% overcast, calm mild and dry. The glass is up on 1018mb. The forecast is for a day of full sun. The light west wind gives a high of 17C and a low of 8C with a slight wind chill. The outlook is for similar weather but slightly warmer.
05:50. Full sun coming in. Looking good!

Yesterday was a good day, bit dull in the afternoon but at 20:00 it was calm, mild and the cloud was breaking. This morning it's calm dry and clear. The glass is up, almost on 1021mb. The forecast is for a sunny day clouding in late tonight. The wind starts very light and easterly but by 09:00 has made up its mind and is a very light westerly for the rest of the day giving a high of 19C and a low of 11C with negligible chill. The outlook is for similar temperatures but less sun.

Yesterday could have been our hottest day yet, more sun than forecast. At 20:00 it was clouding over and first thing this morning we had a light shower but it was calm and mild. I've just checked and we have 100% cloud cover but it's calm, mild and dry. The glass is unchanged, steady on 1021mb. The forecast is for a dry but cloudy day. The west wind is constant and light giving a high of 17C and a low of 11C with negligible wind chill. The outlook has no surprises, similar weather.

Yesterday was brighter than expected but still generally clouded. At 20:00 it was calm dry and mild, First thing this morning it was the same but with a light shower just starting. Later on it was dry with a clearing sky, about 50% cloud cover. The glass is steady on 1020mb, hardly any change for 3 days. The forecast talks about showers later and sunny intervals. The wind starts as a light easterly but by noon is a light to moderate westerly. The high is 18C and the low 9C with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for similar weather, no surprises!
