Yesterday the rain took over after lunch. At 20:00 it was calm and damp but clearing, clear sky with a bright moon. This morning it's the same and the glass is up again on 1022mb. The forecast is for a dry day with a sunny morning and cloud for the rest of the day. The Northerly wind is light and gives a high of 15C and a low of 6C with a -1C chill. The outlook is still for warmer but broken weather. We slowly move towards a growing season.....
Later at 05:30. We have a thick mist.....

Yesterday afternoon ended up sunnier than forecast. At 20:00 it was cool, calm and sunny with broken cloud. This morning it's still dry, calm and cool and we still have the broken cloud. Once more the glass is up slightly on 1026mb. The forecast is again for a cloudy morning followed by increasing amounts of sun. The light Easterly wind is constant and the high will be 16C and the low 8C with a -2C wind chill. The outlook is still for brighter weather but more broken and for a while, cooler.

We are just taking ours off Cathy, getting too warm with the duvet. Cotton duvet cover first then we will loose the duvet and do sheet and patchwork quilt.

It won't last long Cathy!
Yesterday turned out to be a warm sunny afternoon and at 20:00 it was calm, dry, clear and mild. This morning we have broken overcast but it's calm and dry. The glass is down on 1020mb. The forecast is for an overcast day with an Atlantic front reaching us at 18:00 and giving us a wet night. The Southerly wind is brisk, gusts to over 30mph later and gives us a high of 16C and a low of 10C with a -3C chill. The outlook is for similar more broken weather.

Yesterday afternoon was dull and cool but not cold enough to spoil bookie watch. At 20:00 we had a breeze and light rain as promised. That rain cleared during the night but first thing this morning the dry flags were spotted with rain which had started again. That's now become constant light rain. The glass is down again on 1007mb and the forecast is for the rain to stop shortly after dawn and then for us to have a day of sunny spells and occasional showers. The constant WSW wind is brisk and gusts to 35mph. The high will be 14C and the low 10C with a -3 chill all day. Another day like this tomorrow and then a cooler overcast week to follow.

Yesterday turned out sunnier than expected but that breeze kept us cool. At 20:00 we had a light breeze and it was mild. This morning we have a light breeze and significant rain which is forecast to cease shortly and then we shall have a day of cloud and sunny intervals much like yesterday. The glass is down again on 1002mb. The westerly wind is constant and gusts to 30mph giving a high of 13C and a low of 7C with a -3C chill. The outlook is for another couple of days of broken weather like this but then a definite warming trend which could get us to 20C later next week!

Yesterday followed the forecast and the afternoon was overcast, dry and cold if you were in the wind. By 20:00 the wind had dropped, it was still mainly overcast but the sky was clearing. During the night it was cold enough to trigger the CH and this morning first thing we had a very light breeze a clear sky and it was dry. Now we have scattered cloud and a bit more wind but still dry. The glass is up on 1010mb and rising. The forecast is for a mainly overcast day with a chance of rain coming in later tonight. The constant WSW wind is brisk and gusts to 30mph. The high will be 13C and the low 9C with a -3C chill. The outlook is for gradually improving weather, warmer and more sun but for today, wrap up warm if you are in the wind.

Yesterday stayed dry but that wind cooled things down. At 20:00 it was clouding over, still breezy and mild. This morning first thing it was the same and hasn't changed. The glass is steady on 1010mb and the forecast is for a dry day, overcast but with sunny intervals. The constant WNW wind is brisk and gusts to 40mph giving a high of 15C and a low of 9C with a -4C chill at times. The outlook is still for better weather, slowly warming up over the next week.
PS, just a month to go until the longest day and we haven't seen a hot day yet. It's the same every year and it always annoys me, we slide into the days drawing in before we have had any summer!

Yesterday ended clear and dry with a light breeze at 20:00. It was clear during the night with a good moon (full moon on the 16th). This morning it's the same, a light breeze, mainly clear sky dry and mild. The glass is on 1016mb and rising. The forecast is for an overcast start but rapidly becoming full sun for the rest of the day. The wind is mainly a light westerly giving us a high of 16C and a low of 9C with a -2C chill most of the day. The outlook is for even warmer weather, rain on Sunday and Monday perhaps but dry thereafter. The full moon might be bringing in the change we have all been waiting for!

Yesterday was a good day at 20:00 it was dry warm and calm, this morning it is the same and the glass is steady on 1016mb. The forecast offers us a burst of heavy rain around 6AM but after that basically a dry overcast day with a chance of a shower later. The moderate easterly wind gives us a high of 16C and a low of 10C with up to -3C chill later. The outlook is for warming weather with rain tomorrow followed by a dry bright week.

Looking good for us, we currently have 34km/h winds, so Autumn leaves are swirling everywhere.

Yesterday managed to stay dry and it was clear during the night for the full 'Super moon'. No sign of it this morning because first thing we had overcast sky and significant rain. At the moment it is dry but don't get excited, we are promised heavy rain coming in from mid morning onwards. Could be interspersed by sunny spells later.... The glass is down on 1009mb. The wind is light all day, starts in the east and finishes in the SW tonight. The good new is that it gives a high of 17C and a low of 9C with only a slight chill. This is almost tropical for us and will trigger some growth in the gardens and fields. The outlook is for even warmer weather and not a lot of rain.

Yesterday dried up eventually and at 20:00 it was calm, light overcast and dry. This morning it's calm, mild and we have a clear sky. The glass is rising and is on 1012mb. The forecast is for a mainly sunny day with cloud and rain coming in by early evening. The constant southerly wind will be moderate and gives a high of 21C and a low of 9C with a -3C chill at times. The outlook is for slightly cooler overcast weather.

Yesterday was a nice Spring day, at 20:00 it was clouding over but cleared during the night. This morning it's calm, mild and we have a clear sky. The glass fell slightly yesterday but has recovered during the night to 1012mb. The forecast is for a sunny morning and clouding over this afternoon with perhaps a light shower during the night. Perfect growing weather. Once more the wind is southerly giving us a high of 18C and a low of 10C tonight with perhaps a -3C chill when the wind is strongest. The outlook is for slightly cooler showery weather but still mild.

Yesterday was an even better day but by 20:00 the cloud had come in. It cleared during the night and is still clear this morning, calm and mild. The glass is virtually unchanged on just under 1012mb. The forecast is for a bright sunny day. The WSW wind is moderate and gives us a high of 15C and a low of 8C with a -2C chill. The outlook is for similar weather but not as much sun.....
