The glass is falling rapidly, now down at 1006mb and still falling.
I've just brought my bedding in, bone dry and folded. It's much hotter out there than it was yesterday at this time....

I reckon we have about 36C outside and at the moment -3C chill thanks to a light and intermittent breeze. Rest of house is relatively cool.... ( below 28C)

Yesterday we ended the day with heavy overcast at 20:00. First thing this morning, it was calm, cooler and a clear sky. The only change is that we now have very thin high cloud. The glass is up slightly on 1007mb. The forecast is for bright overcast with sunny spells and the chance of showers in the late afternoon. The mainly westerly wind is light to moderate and gives a high of 21C a low of 14C and a chill of -2C. The outlook is for similar weather....

Yesterday was overcast and a much better temperature. At 20:00 it was overcast and no sun. First thing this morning it was calm, cool and overcast. Since then we have had light rain. The glass is up on 1017mb. The forecast is for a day of heavy overcast with light rain early on and late tonight. The light wind is mainly WNW giving a high of 18C and a low tonight of 14C with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for similar temperatures and broken weather. More like Barlick holiday weather!
Later at 07:45... We have light rain again...

It's quite wet here which is lovely and my rainwater collection tanks should be getting refilled so I can keep watering in the polytunnel!

Yesterday wed had frequent very light showers, great for growth but not a lot for refilling water butts! At 20:00 it was overcast and damp. First thing this morning it was calm, broken overcast and evidence of a shower during the night. The only change since then is that the overcast is now 100%. The glass is steady on 1018mb. The forecast is for a cloudy morning and a wet afternoon. The constant easterly wind is light and gives us a high of 16C and a low of 13C tonight with negligible wind chill. The outlook for the next week is similar broken weather and lower temperatures. This is proper holiday weather!

Yesterday afternoon settled into significant rain, by 20:00 it was steady and first thing this morning it had only recently stopped. I've just looked outside and it is starting to dry and the overcast is lighter I think. The glass has fallen to a shade under 1015mb and the forecast is for sunny intervals until 13:00 when it will cloud over and start raining again for the rest of the day. The wind is light and mainly from the south all day. It gives a high of 18C, a low tonight of 16C and later when the wind rises this evening, a chill of -2C. The outlook is for warmer drier weather for the next week.

(I posted this earlier but it seems to have vanished!)

So back to today! I've had my walk and a bit of retail therapy. Well pharmacy are closed until Monday morning so I got the emery boards, the Tomatoes and had a white coffee. Sat in the Square for half an hour, light rain throughout, it came in early.... Now for some veggie cooking.

Yesterday degenerated into a wet day. At 20:00 it was dry but very heavy overcast. First thing this morning it was raining, it has reduced to very light rain and heavy overcast now. The glass is down on 999mb and still falling. The forecast is for a wet day with perhaps some sunny intervals later. The Moderate westerly winds give a high of 16C and a low tonight of 11C with a chill of up to -3C. The outlook is for dryer weather and warming slightly towards the end of the week. Nothing exciting at all.

Yesterday was cool and wet. First thing this morning it was dry but overcast, since then it's started raining. The glass is up with a bang on 1015mb. The forecast is for a showery day with sunny spells possible this evening. The light and variable wind is mainly southerly and gives a high of 17C and a low tonight of 10C with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for dryer and warmer weather but not much!

Yesterday finished with a succession of heavily clouded gloom interspersed with short sunny spells. First thing this morning it was calm, cool, clear and dry. The only change since is that we now have some thin high cloud. The glass is up slightly on 1017mb. The forecast is for a bright sunny start clouding over later. The light winds start in the east, become westerly for most of the day and revert to easterly later giving a high of 19C and a low of 13C with a negligible wind chill. The outlook is for very similar weather for the next week.

Yesterday was another gloomy end to the day, amazing how quickly it gets darker when there's heavy cloud cover. First thing this morning it was calm, mild and overcast but dry, since then it's started raining. The glass is steady on 1015mb and the forecast is rain all morning but brighter in the afternoon. Th wind is light and variable but mainly from the south giving us a high of 19C, a low of 15C and negligible wind chill. The weather for the next week looks very similar....

Yesterday afternoon was bit brighter but by 20:00 we were back under the overcast but it was mild and dry. This morning first thing it was calm, mild and dry under light overcast. As I write this it has just started to rain. The glass is down a touch on 1014mb and the forecast is for it to be overcast and rain at any time during the day. The constant SW wind is moderate and give us a high of 17C and a low of 15C tonight with a -2C chill. The outlook is for brighter and slightly warmer weather for the next week.

Yesterday was a slight improvement, by 20:00 we had sunshine coming in from the west. First thing this morning it was calm and dry under an almost clear sky, very thin scattered cloud. Since then the cloud has gone and we have a clear sky to greet the dawn. The glass is up on 1015mb. The forecast is for a dry day, full sun this morning gradually clouding over as the day wears on. The constant WSW wind is light and gives us a high of 20C and a low of 16C tonight with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for a week of similar weather.

The glass is down on 1006mb and the forecast is for heavy rain, easing this afternoon to sunshine and showers and then heavy overcast this evening. The constant SW wind is brisk and gusts to near to 35mph at times giving a high of 19C a low of 15C and a chill of -3C. The outlook is for similar broken weather for the next seven days...

Yesterday ended up under heavy overcast again at 20:00. First thing this morning it was calm, mild and the sky was clearing even though the flags were damp after an overnight shower. The change since then is that we now have bright overcast. The glass has fallen to 999mb but is rising slowly. The forecast is for a dry day with cloud but occasional sunny intervals. The 7 day outlook is for similar weather but on the whole a bit brighter.

Yesterday was a re-run of the day before, we ended up at 20:00 under heavy overcast, no sign of the sun. First thing this morning we had light rain. That's stopped now but it's still overcast and wet underfoot. The glass is up on 1008mb and the forecast is for a mainly dry day getting brighter and sunny as the day goes on. The westerly wind is moderate WNW later, and gives us a high of 17C and a low tonight of 10C with a chill of -3C this afternoon. The outlook is for two cool days and then it starts to warm again slightly but no high summer for my visitors!

Yesterday was another re-run, a clouded afternoon and only a glimpse of low sun at 20:00. It was a clear night and first thing this morning it was calm, cool, dry and clear. It's not changed since. The glass is up on 1016mb and the forecast is for a day of sunshine and showers after a wet start. The wind starts as a light SW but this afternoon becomes moderate and WNW giving a high of 16C and a low of 9C with a chill of -3C this afternoon. The outlook is for more broken weather.
