Microbore works OK here as water is good, mine has been in for 26 years . Mind you, that didn't protect me yesterday from a bum thermostat.

A blast from the past...
Just had a soft serve ice cream / espresso/ cappuccino van on my street.
I heard the Greensleeves music coming from streets away.
Haven’t seen an ice cream van in the suburbs for decades.
It’ll be the milkman and bakers van next

Jess has not fallen to pieces during the night. Tension mounts for today!
My new thermostat is calibrated slightly different than the old one so I woke to a cool house, I have turned the stat up a bit and will see how it feels after 24 hours at that level.
I shall be in the shed pursuing my engine. Doubtful is we will have bookie watch or even a walk as we are promised rain all day. I shall see what it's like at noon.
I missed second sleep yesterday, that will not happen today!
