I have happy memories of that club. I first encountered a Benny with hot water there....

I'm tempted to pay a visit to the Barlick Raj, I have the urge for curry and it's buffet day.

Small helping of the casserole for Breakfast. Fish pie and plum crumble for dinner at the Market Cafe in Colne, (highly recommended!) and another helping of casserole for tea.

I decided to start the day with a pork pie with gravy and peas from the casserole. I cooked carrots, sprouts, celery and a few potatoes later and had that with chicken wings for tea.

Wings and veggies for breakfast and pie and veggies for tea. I cooked mutton chops as well and put the gravy in the fridge overnight to separate the fat. I shall de-bone and de-fat the meat this morning so as to have another protein source!

I had wings and veggies for breakfast. Then I casseroled stewing steak with tomatoes and onions and reinforced it with boiled potato chunks to absorb the gravy. That plus veggies for tea and it was lovely.
If I have a cooking skill it's making good gravy!

The last of the steak and veggies for breakfast and tea. It got better as it aged, that's why I cooked my hot and spicy chicken wings yesterday and the casserole is sat in the fridge maturing.
