Straight veggies for breakfast and the same at tea time but with the added benefit of a deep fried fillet of cod. :biggrin2:

Cabbage with dinner tonight. I have enjoyed both Cabbage and Brussel Sprouts since being a kid. Trouble is, moving slightly slower now due to Sciatica, I worry I may explode in the middle of the night before I get to the bathroom. Hasn’t happened yet :laugh5: but one does worry!

I grilled sausages to augment the wings and veggies as they were running down. So wings, sausage and veggies X two for breakfast and tea. Butcher delivers tonight, I shall survive!

Done! Couldn’t eat it all...peeled the bread off and ate the filling. We are light weights with meals nowadays :biggrin2:

I won a breakfast box, from Barlic Bites, a couple of weeks ago and that had spam with it. Before I migrated north our local chip shop did spam in batter, that was always tasty.

I know how Spam is made and how terrible that is but every now and again I like to revisit the taste. There's something about that spice mix!

I am sure we had Spam as kids. I have no desire to revisit the taste of Spam. Nor can I revisit a greasy frypan or a pan of fat. I don’t think my gut could handle it. Mind you, if we endured your cold winters, I can see a point where I would eat for warmth.

It's usually 'hair, teeth and eyeballs' that taste so good. I couldn't eat it on a regular basis but it's a bit of nostalgia every now and then.

Planning our Christmas dinner today. Off to the butchers to see if we can get some decent beef spare ribs, marinated plus other bits of dressing washed down with a good cup of tea. Life's a bowl of cherries.

Another warm day, but a BBQ Chicken Pizza, with a glass of Shiraz, as we welcome the evening sea breezes that flow through open doors. A balmy evening.
I managed two bits PLUS the Shiraz!

We have had a hot, humid day (steamy, unpleasantly so)
So just a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich tonight...no appetite further to that. Changed clothes at lunchtime because the weather was so sweaty, I couldn’t stand being stinky. A shower needed before bed I think.
No covers needed tonight.
I have sipped about 2 litres of water today....
