Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Mutton and peas with veggies X two for breakfast and tea. I cooked some sprouts to keep the veggie element topped up. (I think I'm addicted to sprouts.....)

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Mutton and peas for breakfast and tea. Slow cooked mutton is the most tender meat there is!

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Reminds me of the annual jokes about cooking the Christmas lunch sprouts days early.
I like them too, but 'al dente' and fresh from the pan.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
I think I wanted to say that....
I had the last of the mutton, peas and veggies so I cooked more sprouts! Butcher delivered at tea time.....
(I do miss me meat pies, steak puddings and bacon butties! Bugger low carb diets!)

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
I started the day with a Scotch Egg, two fried eggs and some sprouts. Then I had a cook in of chicken wings and veggies so that was the menu for tea.

Chicken wings and veggies X two for breakfast and tea. I cooked some pork belly very slowly, it will supplement the chicken wings.... (Thank god meat is low carb!)

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Chicken wings and veggies X two for breakfast and tea. The belly pork de-boned and converted to bite size chunks ready to replace the chicken wings.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Both barred for me now Ian under the new strict low carb scene. I had sausage, baked beans and eggs for breakfast. I did veggie shopping and cooking yesterday so tea was sausage and veggies. Overnight I slow roasted a lump of belly pork and a piece of smoked bacon. Both dealt with and I have a chicken roasting in the oven. The gravy from the roast is in the fridge to separate the fat.....

Lunch today was Chicken Tikka Masala for me and Sausage, Mash and Peas for Paulette at the Crown in Colne. It's a nice walk from home.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Working my way through the belly pork and veggies. Good job I like veggies so much. A low carb diet would be very boring without them! (I might relax my low carb instincts today as I am eating away from home twice......

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
I was a good lad at lunch time. I had a steak and ale pie with salad. I didn't eat the puff pastry lid. Tea was a battered fish and mushy peas.
