One pot (pressure cooker) chilli for tea here at Chez Kev.

Would it be socially acceptable to have Yorkshire Puddings with it?

Go for it Kev, remember feed a cold and starve a fever!.
I had chicken and veggies and have just taken a small slab of pork belly out of the small oven where it has been slow cooking all night. Have cut a corner off and tasted it.... :good:

Cubed slow-roasted belly pork and veggies X two for breakfast and tea. Must cut back on portion sizes, I've got the diet right but not the quantities!

Rice, Beans and Sausage. We had half last night. The remainder I put into a shallow casserole dish.
Tonight I'll add a little more stock and some grated cheese on the top then bake it in the oven.

The last of the breast of lamb with veggies for Breakfast. After cooking for much of the day I had all my veggies done and a chicken and pork belly roasted and in the fridge. I Had chicken breast and veggies for tea with a scattering of cubed skin off the pork just for interest.

We were at the Raj last night Kev for a late 45th wedding anniversary meal bought for us by the kids, (it was last December). Excellent as usual with a complimentary Brandy to follow. Enjoy your meal.

I saw the picture on FB. Happy belated 45th anniversary. Looking forward to it, what with a holiday, work and being socially responsible we've not been for nearly 6 weeks.

Ah, pie crust! Verboten for me I'm afraid..... I had chicken and veggies for breakfast and tea. I haven't weighed myself but suspect I have lost weight now I am not giving myself treats beyond a small apple and some nuts. I find it easier to climb the stairs! Encouraging, I shall do more!

I haven't seen a white egg on sale for many years. They seem to be universal in America, whilst we have thought brown is better for a long time. Got these in Tesco last night.

I noticed that in the States. Strange isn't it when actually there is no difference in the eggs.

I've never seen a white egg in a supermarket offering for years including 'free range'. That said - I rarely consider the expensive eggs.

Perhaps that explains it though, since owing to the Avian Flu outbreak - no egg can be described as 'free range' at the moment. Seems they must be described as 'barn eggs' (which they probably were anyway). Perhaps they are all being lumped together now. I always buy the cheapest eggs available thinking they are likely to have the quickest turnover, and be the freshest. That box was £1.18 which I think is a good price.

PS - just had two on toast for lunch. Theory confirmed - again.

Have I seen 'mixed colour' eggs being sold? From memory a Sussex hen gave you white eggs and the darkest brown ones were from Marans....I prefer the most orange yolks!
I had straight veggies for breakfast and belly pork and veggies for tea. (Not a large portion, I am serious about this weight!

Two fried eggs and veggies for breakfast, nothing at all in Colne and the last of the veggies and pork for tea. I cooked some veggies in the afternoon ready for today. This morning I have a chicken cooking in the oven and a slab of pork belly marinading in the fridge. I will not die of hunger.
