Terry Nutkins has died aged 66. He was co-presenter with Johnny Morris on Animal magic in the 70s and, later presented The Really Wild Show.

Andy Williams the crooner has died of cancer aged 84. His " Music to Watch Girls By" was a song I always liked. Nolic

Actor Herbert Lom has died aged 95. He was in the Peter Sellers Pink Panther films but I liked him as the psychiatrist in The Human Jungle. Nolic

I liked his performance in Alec Guiness's 'orchestra' in The Ladykillers. He could do sinister very well..

Agreed Comrade. He was never frightened of criticism and, unpopular though his views were, presented them without fear and was very influential. He ignored the 'bogeyman' potential of discussing Communism and revolution and looked dispassionately at the evidence. Think of the damage that irrational fear of the 'Red Menace' has done over the last 100 years.

Eric Lomax has died aged 93. Possibly the last survivor of the prisoners who worked under the Japanese on the 'Death Railway'.

Connelly's Plaice if memory serves.
I see that Pat Jones has died. Until 2003 he ran the vacuum cleaner shop on Rainhall Road and he could always get you that elusive bearing that was going to save buying a new washing machine. A nice man and a useful shop.

My Dad liked that chippy. He used to always send us there, but it wasn't open on Saturdays when we went over

Clive Dunne was brilliant as Corporal Jack Jones in Dads Army. He had a No 1 hit in the early 1970s with 'Granddad'. R.I.P Clive Dunne aged 92.

Dinah Sheridan has died aged 92. She will be remembered as the mother of the three children in the 1970 film The Railway Children which was filmed on The Keighley Worth Valley Railway.
