hello from Jim Nutter

Post by jimbolene »

came on here doing research of my family tree and found the information here most enlightening. Visited bancroft mill couple of weeks ago with a picture of Great Uncle WIlfred hung in the cafe area...The engine is superb but doesnt really tell the story of the workers and their lives and the power of the mills on the people in Barlick..reading on, many thanks

Hi Jim, welcome. They're a friendly lot on here, don't be worried about asking questions, I can pretty much guarantee someone will have an answer.

Jim, have a look at the LTP and much else on OG and you'll find that we pay close attention to the industry and the way it affected people's lives. Enjoy the site......
