Doesn’t look as though it could ever have been sea worthy.

At first I thought you must mean it's another resident of the graveyard at Lac des Deux Montagnes in Quebec - but that's not in the US. We had Northfield recently but there are at least two Northfields in the US, in Minnesota and Vermont. I'll go for Minnesota.

I'm being picky because there is no way of knowing. Yes the boat is a redundant ferry and I did this pic on a visit to Marin County which is on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge (and reputed to be the wealthiest county in the US apart from the Hamptons on Long Island.). It is not alone, there is a graveyard of similar boats, some of which were inhabited. Close to it there were a many floating homes but more modern and fully serviced. Sorry that was so obscure Peter. It must have stumped everyone - only Gloria and myself responded. Perhaps all others were distracted by the Duke's funeral and then the football fiasco!

No, but I'll suggest somewhere in the UK because the picture seems to show good looking dairy cows in a lovely British pastoral setting! (Now I've said that it'll probably turnout to reside in some horrid hot desert country and created to remind the British ex-pats of the Mother Country!)

I think Kev knows but he is being coy. Yes Ken, it's in a bank, tell me more.... (On the day I was there they were auctioning fruit cakes for a local charity.) (PS. The cows are Holsteins.)

Spot on Kev. It's where the Passaic River drops off the edge in Paterson NJ.
I was there looking at the water power in the town which took full advantage of that water dropping from that height.

There is a lot of water in the river and here's part of the headrace and sluices that allow water to be dropped down to the mills in the town.
Next for shaving.
