I've just realised you mean Jim's cill at Bancroft. No, there is no pool cue there only old but essential items connected with the drawing in frame he is working on.

Time to knock this on the head. In the picture of Jim Pollard drawing in at Bancroft Shed the small mechanism on the rail of the drawing in frame that moves along selecting the threads for Jim is called a traveller. The sign in the pub window bars travellers. Simple as that and depended on you knowing what the small mechanism was called.
