Gilbert White (he, of Selborne) had a small thatched hermitage in the drawing on the front cover of his book`The natural history and antiquities of Selborne' (1798). Is your pic a replica? Royal Society

I doubt if it's the original but is near Gilbert White's house at Selborne. You got it right Peter. I'm surprised it took so long.

From experience all vegetables become 'giganteum' if you ignore them for long enough. :smile: Ive had five foot radishes. I 'd say they are just onions? :smile:
