Reminds me of of going down to the cloggers where he had this spoke shaver hooked up a frame and trimmed the wooden soles into shape.

He's right, it guides the ropes on a sailing ship but what name did the sailors know it by? And which ship did this one belong to? (It has been in the news recently.)
