I watched the first episode last night. Not overly impressed but I'll give it a fair chance. My biggest problem was that I couldn't get Hayley Cropper and that café out of my head!

We’ve just the last one to watch, and find it riveting, all my ideas of what’s happening are flying out the window.

Serves you right for watching Corrie. :extrawink: She's a good actress though.

:good:
In my defence it wasn't my choice. At the time I was living with a woman who was addicted to Corrie. It didn't last long..... :biggrin2:

Just started writing a longish response, must have clicked something and it’s gone, ah well , try again.
We have watched the first two Long Lost Family : Born Without Trace, it’s about foundlings, last one tonight. Very interesting, but I wonder how many they searched into and found nothing, and thumbs up for DNA which has brought things on in leaps and bounds.

Ive been watching them too Gloria, some of the investigations have been going on for a few years now. If they just find a distant match on DNA databases the researchers must work back to try and find possible connections in the area where the babies were found. Fascinating stuff! I'd love to see more of the work that goes on behind the scenes.

Yes I’d like to see more of the behind the scenes work. Interesting that I think it was two of the mothers up to now haven’t wanted anything to do with it. And, the father from last must now be wondering if a lot more of his offspring may turn up, sounds like he lived his earl6 life to the full.

Wonderful for the 75 year old woman to be put in touch with both sides of her family! It was noticeable that there was no mention of the Liverpool chap's other 6 children meeting their new sister. It must be unbelievably difficult for a woman who has abandoned her baby to meet up with them.

Did it not say at the end that they had met up with her, or am I dreaming? It did say the other 6 did not all have the same mother.

I watched it with interest until he came on the scene. I thought him repulsive, and in a kneejerk reaction I switched off. I think the DNA aspect of this is revealing situations which perhaps should be let lie.

I watched the final two episodes of The Pact last night. It held my attention because it was a good plot but my god, they sampled every cliché they could think of didn't they and on the whole it was an angst fest. So I can't give it a rave revue....

Caught up with the third Long Lost Family the Foundlings, another amazing find of parents, interestingly though the mothers don’t want to meet their children. I wonder if any have in the aftermath.

BBC, three part prison drama ""Time" with Sean Bean and Stephen Graham. Violent on occasion but a good tale of two men's struggles on each side of the fence so to speak. Another good one from Jimmy McGovern who tends to tell it like it is.

I have worked in "category A" H.M. Prisons establishments and it was in many ways how I remembered it.

We watched it on demand and it is still available, recommended.
