Just watched Kate and Koji on ITV. Enjoyed it . Old fashioned sort of sitcom. No foul language, classy cast, and just a bit of politically incorrect edge. Good.

Talking of classics. I recommend everyone to go on Youtube and watch repeats of Yes Minister. You will not get much political insight but you might have a good laugh......

Likewise there are lots of past radio programmes on Radio 4 in BBC Sounds. For example, `Just a Minute' goes back a long way if you want something light-hearted. Michael Rosen's Word of Mouth episodes are interesting, as are Laurie Taylor's Thinking Allowed. Both presenters are pleasing to listen to.

My solitary confinement has become a bit easier since I stumbled across the return of RPGTV on Channel 176 Freesat. Racing without a crowd, and keeping distance for the staff - but I can't see it continuing for long.

There's Chess on the web too - the candidates tournament to play Carlsen for the world title later in the year. Chess

Watched the beginning of a new series on bbc1 last night, The Nest, looks like it could be good. Problem was, there seemed to be a lot of muttering going on, so we ended up clicking the subtitles on.

Try Wayfarin' Stranger on BBC Scotland now. My music for the last 60 years. The high lonesome sound.

Wayfarin Stranger

PS - A bit disappointing, too much Ireland and Scotland. Next may be better - Appalachian. More to my taste. These are the sort of programmes that will vanish if the BBC stops being publicly funded.
